I can’t see anybody with a measure of intelligence defending these lawbreakers. But people still do! Typically they try to get away with it by turning it into a racial thing.

even though this site is not pro jw , if someone wants to ask a question or try to understand a point of view, there are many here who over the years have tried to help sincere witnesses.
if i believe someone is here just trying to push buttons, i will either ignore them or actually question their motives.

Once you are on this site I would think it would be very difficult to stay a JW. I guess that’s why I’m surprised when some elders stay here for decades and lead double lives keeping the flock in check while pretending they fight against apostates. -

The deal was get a vac and you’ll be protected. People get the vaccination and after they get Covid they are told be thankful you got the shots because it could’ve been a lot worse if you didn’t. People get vaccinated and are told they still shouldn’t eat inside at restaurants per Dr. Fauci today. Life is far from normal! They are recommending that Michigan close down totally again as opposed to getting more vacs. It just never ends!!!

Do You Tip At Eateries?

if you were given a 90 minute time frame to eat at a restaurant, would that restriction limit your tipping to the waitress or waiter?.
also if you order a coffee and donut and pick it up, do you contribute to the “tip jar” that’s on the counter?

I’ll tell you what I HATE. Due to Covid, you and another person are seated at a restaurant and only one menu is given and you must share it. Wtf?? Then the server will continue coming to you to ask you what you want but you haven’t had a chance to look at the menu because one person has it in front of them and you haven’t gotten to see it yet. It’s ridiculous!

If people want to exercise their right not to wear a mask when walking outside they have been threatened with fines . If a church wants to meet in a home with a few people the government or state bans it until the Supreme Court says otherwise. All under the guise of a public health order. Tennis club I belong you makes you wear a mask on the court if you are playing doubles but if you are playing singles you don’t need a mask. A lot of arbitrary rules here.

Joey, in this country, tipping is part of dining or service. Personally though, I don’t like tipping if I have to get out of my car place an order, wait for it to be given and then see a little tip jar near the register. Why does anybody deserve a tip when I come and pick it up myself?? If though I’m calling for a pizza delivery, the driver depends on a tip for his services so I will tip accordingly
