Most of the poor children are abused but not killed. The RCC has a lot of blood in their hands.

Canadian Residential School Deaths
by Simon inin case you haven't heard, they just discovered the remains of some 215 dead children at a so called canadian residential school.
they couldn't call it a death-camp could they ... it would be too obvious.. these were where indigenous children were taken, forcibly, in order to "educate" them out of their native customs and languages and make them integrate with society.. unbelievably, this was still going on in the 60s to 90s.. of course the catholic church has their sticky fingers all over it.
what is it about those creepy bastards?

Do You Still Easily Believe Everything?
by minimus into be a witness you had to accept whatever spiritual food was being dished out.
even if it didn’t make any sense, we were expected to believe.
now that we are out of the cult, do you find yourself a person who doesn’t just accept the status quo?

To be a Witness you had to accept whatever spiritual food was being dished out. Even if it didn’t make any sense, we were expected to believe.
Now that we are out of the cult, do you find yourself a person who doesn’t just accept the status quo? Just because someone tells you something, do you tend to automatically question it, or do you revert to taking the course of least resistance?

Do You Know Of Anyone That Has Seen A Therapist Because Of Being A Witness?
by minimus ini really don’t know of many people who got into therapy because of their jw dealings but i would think that if someone remains depressed or severely affected by their past witness life, it’s not a bad idea to speak to someone to get you on the right path.
i think this site has been very therapeutic for many over the years..

It’s funny how people can turn on you. A few short months ago he was beloved. Now, even the diehard fans are questioning the man’s integrity.

The cofounder of BLM resigned her position with the group because she , the Marxist anti capitalist was buying homes left and right spending millions! What a hypocrite! She’s blaming white Republicans for the situation she’s in. What a joke!

I find it hysterical when someone realizes not only was I raised as a JW but that I was an elder for years. Most people will say, I would never have believed you were a Witness! You seem so normal…. Lol

I don’t think I can agree that being a Jehovah’s Witness causes mental illness. Plenty of Jehovah’s Witnesses are not mentally ill as well as ex witnesses.

Years ago I knew of a Canadian elder who was young , I believe the youngest elder appointed at the time. He was kind of like a boy wonder. Anyway, he grew a well manicured beard. He was promptly talked to by the other elders and was told he had to shave it and stop being a rebel. After much letter writing to the Society, the elders in the local congregation prevailed. He then shaved it off and all was good. The problem was it wasn’t good for him! He couldn’t take the fact that he was told he couldn’t wear a beard. He got sullen and pretty negative and eventually just stopped going to meetings.
