The Witnesses are actually quite boring. What makes a site or a thread interesting is differences of opinion. The Witnesses haven’t said much of anything remotely interesting. Every once in a while you get something hot but generally no JWs come here to debate. Farkel, God rest his soul was entertaining and informative and lived to mix it up with anybody. There aren’t many here who are interested in supporting the religion so we discuss other current events including politics. Remember, as JWs we couldn’t ever express a view in that department. Thank goodness we can do it here!!

Did they use to applaud after reinstatement after being Disfellowshipped, but then it stopped?
by ThomasCovenant ini don't remember disfellowshippings happening very often and announcements about being re instated but i think i remember that we used to clap hands if someone came back after being disfellowshipped.
but then i think clapping wasn't allowed.
am i correct in my recollections?.

Regarding the N word , it’s not acceptable in this dialogue. Still, I think it’s hypocritical when it’s ok for blacks to call other blacks the N word and no one objects. That too is BS.

I have no tolerance issues with beauty and brains, you poor thing! What a cross to bear especially as a Witness. I have no tolerance issues because someone is of a different color either. Just because I refuse to bend a knee to BLM it doesn’t mean I have no “tolerance “ for blacks. Sigh. And I thought you were so smart.
