  they used to say the world governments would turn on religion.

  i think this part is coming true.

  however they also said since jehovah’s witnesses were going to be the only religion left the governments were going to focus on the “eyeball”of jehovah, his people.

  Overrated that could be the secret reason the governments go after God’s people. The Witnesses always find an excuse for being “persecuted “.

However they also said since Jehovah’s Witnesses were going to be the only religion left the governments were going to focus on the “eyeball”of Jehovah, his people. Once they go after His Witnesses Jehovah God was going to obliterate them. I guess only time will tell but I wouldn’t hold my breath.

  Have the Witnesses ever been right on anything???

  i can remember when i joined the chess class in middle school.

  my mother brought out an older watchtower article about how chess is a game of war.

  since i left the cult in 95 i have slowly lost any connection to the cult.

  I was a teenager when the chess is war article came out and put a very negative spin on the game. However I was a very good chess player and in high school I belonged to a chess club and I actually beat someone who would later be a grandmaster. I kept the chess playing under the radar so that I could become a Pioneer and Ministerial Servant and then become an elder.🤭

  I just read that after a few years Ed died and his wife was very ill in a hospital with mental issues. These kind folks believed in God and the Bible and lived their lives in freedom, real freedom at the end.

  I listened to the entire tape. I remembered Dunlap giving talks and I always enjoyed his folksy manner and informative approach. I would think this tape was made many many years ago. Does anybody know what happened to him and his wife?
