countries, governments, and social systems all can encounter a special time of judgement - a unique moment in history.

when they must face reality and survive - or wither away as another of humanity's dead ends.. the muslim world has entered such a time.

they must progress or face a destruction of their own making.. i'm shocked at how few people actually appreciate the danger that 9-11 exposed.

fiancee committed scuicide jw parents trying to steal my babies

my fiancee died on feb24 she was suffering from years of abuse by her alchoholic jw parents.

she first tried to commit scuicide when she was 12 then 2 more times at 16. when she was 15 she snuck out to go to a party when she was raped she was too afraid to tell her parents.

the very next day her jw brother in law molested her.

my step son, sean, is moving back to pacific, mo.

he's moving in with his jw brother (big mistake as they don't really get along).

i guess the pressure from daddy saying if he converted he'd disown sean was more than he could bear.

JW scientist banned from Institute's WebSite because of Creationistic Views

recently, dr. wolf-ekkehard loennig, a jw working in a leading position at the gene-science-department at the max-planck-institute, has been banned from the institute's website for spreading his view about evolution.

he promotes the so called "intelligents design".

max-planck-institute calles this creationism in disguise.

I think that this whole argument is ultimately pointless - because it started over an issue that did not exist except in the minds of some (whether or not Scientists have the right to be Creationists). It can't be resolved, because the issue is not being discussed.

Do scientists have the right to be creationists? The general consensus of the scientific community is "No!" Because the whole concept of a personal God is so repugnant to most of the set that believes that the Universe, whether God made it or no, is operating by laws that can be comprehended and understood - laws which are not set aside at the whim of some great Beard in the Sky.

Do creationists have the right to be Scientists? They do their damndest not to be - with their prevarications, lies, and half-truths - all of which revolve around a very narrow interpretation of Genesis, written 3500 years ago in the middle of the desert by a guy who was trying to build a national identity out of a group of escaped Egyptian slaves.

Not that science, with Rem's vaunted Internet, is so great. If it is, then why can't I download an illegal copy of Eminem's latest hit? Huh? Answer me, medicine man! What the hell is wrong with morpheus?

Name one disease that religion has cured. One toilet it got to flush. Name one instance when, provably, religion did anything except wake me up early on Sunday.

Neither side can give me the answers I truly need. Only sweet alcohol can do that...

I was educated in that environment - and yes evolution was taught as fact as opposed to creationism. The thing they seem to be missing is that brainwashing simply doesn't work without the compliance of the individual involved. Even those raised in dubdom can eventually break free, so if evolution is merely brainwashing (which it isn't) then intelligence will break through eventually.

She is, of course, obsessed with sexual deviance in modern society, which just goes to show that religion wants to create a guilt complex about the most basic of human biological functions.

Finally, if she's going to challenge American intellectual culture, she needs to learn to write better English. Stop those participles that dangling are!
