  i know that many have probably sampled the mp3s of sunutko giving that famous "stay alive 'til 75" speech.

  at one time, i was in his district and met him.

  he was oine great speaker!

  in the spring of 1967 district overseer charles sunutko gave in sheboygan, wisconsin, the talk, "serving with everlasting life in view"

  a recording of that talk is available on the internet at several places, easily found by a google search.. but who is (was?

  ) charles sunutko?.

  Scientists observe Black Hole's Event Horizon for first time!

  by a score of 135 to zero, scientists using nasa's rossi x-ray timing explorer have compared suspected neutron stars and black holes and found that the black holes behaved as if each one has an event horizon, the theoretical border from beyond which nothing, not even light, can escape.

  the team found that x-ray light emitted from these two types of regions behaved differently.

  ok as you have gathered im a wittness and i for one beleave we have the truth.not saying every thing is or has all ways been right because we live in a imperfect world with imperfect people.but as far as jehovah being god and jesus being his son.and the coming war of arrmegeddon.i would say we have the truth.i no about all the mistakes and misunderstandings we have had in the past.but i feel that is past and we have moved on.and abandoned i no what you all say about the year 607 being wrong but that date all deapends on it desolation was 70 years or not.so im just trying to understand how some of you say you lernt you was being lied to?

  PMJ, if you drive by a place that reads "Literacy for Adults", please enter and ask for more information. Since you write like a 3rd grader, I can't possibly believe that you understand the issues involved in 607 AEC WT dogma.
  Please do yourself a favor: stop worrying about this crazy religion and get yourself some education. You'll be amazed how much that will benefit you.

  David, this is a discussion board, where people express a host of different sentiments. Some people joke, some people cry, some people clarify, and some people express HOPE that this will bring the WT to account.
  The news article itself makes it clear that the WT intends to appeal the decision. In an appeals court ANYTHING can happen, including the claimant losing the case.
  That's why, in my opinion, people here have expressed more hope than anything else. Think about it: how many times before has a bethelite dragged the WT, the all-powerfull instrument God is using, to a Workman's Comp board and WON at that instance? That's why people's hopes are high. That's how we should view it.

  My D/f appeal meeting went amazingly, but the still want to d/f me

  sorry how long this is but i found the meeting very exciting.

  the short version is i said directly that i do not believe in the wts, feel being d/f is unfair on my jw family so asked them to just leave me alone.

  it didn't work.
