The thing with double life is that it doesn't mean much in that the person can be df'ed, stop the double life, return, get df'ed again, stop the double life, and then return.
The exact sequence above happened recently with a female friend of mine. She's a single mother now.
She doesn't agree with everything in the Org, but she's so brainwashed that she concluded she had to return.

Remember that one in Rhode Island? Well, after two long years, it is still for sale! It appears that elders there are not waiting on Jehovah, as they changed real estate agent. Now, there is a small, very discreet sign; if you don't look hard, you almost can't see it.
I'm making a few calls to "Babylon, the Great" leaders to find out if they could be interested, as they seem to be experiencing great expansion these days.

How do I deal with my hatred?
by nicolaou ini know that thousands of you have gone through the same thing i'm facing but right now it doesn't help.
i know that some of you have faced much worse - losing family through the blood issue or having to deal with abuse and i know that in comparison my problems may seem not so severe but as bad as it sounds knowing all that just doesn't matter right now.. it started yesterday and there's no stopping it, the official shunning.
one member of the family right now will see the month end with me losing my sisters, brother and my mum.. i love them and i know that in a sense they are victims too but i just cannot reach them.

I'm sorry to hear you feel so angry, but it is understandable.
One way I deal with my anger is to remind myself that about four years ago I was exactly like what they are now.
Also remember that the more anger one shows, the happier JWs seem to get. And the opposite is also true: one thing that makes JWs very irritated is when they meet an inactive/former JW and he says "I'm doing wonderfully well" and shows a delicious smile in their face.

It's so good to hear you were able to help him out. As someone else has said, it is so common people to believe the BS even after being dfed and out for so many years; unbelievable!
Now, what you did I tried to do with my sister and she reacted excitedly at first, but then retreated to full jdub robotic mode after possibly talking to someone at her congo. We may talk for an hour about anything, but when she hears the word Jeho..., she immediately enters into full defensive gear. She gets so angry and out of control that the conversation cannot proceed in any way, shape or form.

In Brazil, for two years in a row now the percentage of publishers increase is stuck in 2%.
This is significant, as this is a third-world country with growth of developed nations. :)
This is joyous indeed. Seems like the Internet is taking a toll in there.
I remember from not so long ago the increase would be in the two digits. When the speaker was talking giving out these numbers in Assemblies, the audience would break in applause after every little figure that would come out of his mouth, barely letting him finish. THAT TIME IS OVER!
