I have lots of problems with the bible. But the flood is not one of them.

This is like saying, "I have lots of problems with Spiderman, but a person flying from skyscraper to skyscraper by synthetic spider webs is not one of them".

In 4,000 years? Really? This statement alone reveals a massive misunderstanding of biology and science as it relates to evolution, and undermines any further arguments you can make for the Flood or against evolution.

two weeks ago we run an article about the abuse case in moston manchester congregation .it would seem that the coverage from the main local newspaper manchester evening news and two national newspapers has alarmed the charity commission the official regulator for charities in england and wales and now for the first time !

they opened an official investigation on both charities ,the local one ,moston congragation and the central one jehovah's witnesses of britain indicating that in their eyes these two are connected and liable for any misconduct .this is the time for a concentrated campaign from all of us to inform the charity commission why the watchtower should not be a called a charity .the article above has a link for the charity commission complaint page .follow it!.

Very true, and I feel the same way.

However, most of the time, in a public place, a person is legally allowed to do it. The JW attendants (thugs) at this convention obviously didn't like it, but the man was legally within his rights.

It may offend me that the KKK can hold public rallies, but I cannot legally stop them from doing it. It's the give/take of a free society.

Maybe.

But, ask yourself: if you were a Catholic in the 1920's and you walked out of your church to be met by JWs (IBSA) picketing with signs that said "Religion Is A Snare and A Racket", would it have changed your mind? Most likely not. Yet, JWs did it anyway....and demanded everyone allow them their "right" to do so.

The actual effectiveness of the protest has little to do with a person's legal right to do it.

The hypocrisy of the JW stance on this subject is incredible considering their history.

How many times does a "Noah's Ark" "discovery" have to be debunked as a hoax before people become less gullible to this nonsense?

Noah's Ark has allegedly been 'discovered', not by satellite images, but up close and personal, a dozen times, yet not one person thought it was a good idea to bring back any evidence.

Any alleged photos have also been debunked as fake...everytime.

To those that swallow these stories whenever they surface: "there's one born every minute"

JWs used to target churches, stand outside and wait for services to dismiss, and protest with signs that read "Religion Is A Snare and A Racket".

I didn't see this man doing any that. He was just walking around quietly with a video camera. Incidentally, this occured during a lunch break, not during "church services".

Even if he was holding provocative signs and shouting, my initial thought is: what goes around comes around. WT did worse than this for years- they should be more tolerant when others take advantage of the civil rights and "religious freedoms" WT brags it has gained for everyone through the courts (in reality, we know those 'freedoms' were only for WT's advantage- they don't now, nor ever have, given a flying f**k about a non-JWs religious freedoms).

JWs used to be (and in some ways still are) the most in-your-face, invade-other-people's-privacy, 'take the fight to the people' religions that exists. It's astonishing how intolerant JWs are when others do anything similar to what they do.
