@ Finkelstein: Funny I thought cars had oil in their engines not blood
.
JW cars can only accept fractions of 10w/30.
i just walked back from getting my mail and happen to walk right by an automobile that belongs to the jw's who live in the end of my building.
the sticker in the low left of the windshield caught my attention so i stopped to read it.
it was a sticker that said......advanced medical directive.....no blood!

caleb: dad, can i ask you a question?.
dad: of course, my son.
havent i told you that you can come to me whenever you have a question?.
OND:
Dad: We wrestle with the demons, son. What were you thinking?!
Caleb: Oh, I thought you had something else in mind.
.
Dad: "On second thought, Caleb, I'll wrestle with your sister another time. I am reminded of what "Mother" (not your real mother, your mother that is in reality seven fathers in Brooklyn) has said about "two witnesses", so let's keep today's "wrestling" to just you and me. How does that sound, champ?"
Caleb: "Since you've become an elder, Dad, you sure are knowledgable about WT rules and policies."
Dad: "CYA, son...CYA. Now go get the baby oil".
his talk was about reaching out for the real life.. he is in his mid seventies, then begins to rant on about staying loyal to the organization because many of us have lost loved ones in death and if we want to see them again we must remain in the organization.
he says he wants to see his father again, then the tears begin to flow right there on the stage.... then an elderly sister during the watchtower study admits to regetting leaving her daughter behind to seek a better life in the u.s, and she is crying.... these 2 meetings was just plain weird..
staying loyal to the organization
.
Because the Organization will be resurrecting his dad?
This cult is becoming more bizarre everyday.
Most likely this 70-something JW realizes he too will die an old man in this world, and, just like his father before him, he is not going to see the promised Armageddon™ either.
.
I wonder how long it'll be before WT changes their stance on tattoos....so that it can then mandate every JW get "staying loyal to the Organization" engraved on their forehead?
recently, my mother, who had stopped talking to me because i was 'apostate,' started speaking to me again.. (note that i successfully faded as opposed to ever being disfellowshipped due to dodging every elder question with "i'm not sure, i'm still searching and trying to find the answers.").
the reason why?
at the international convention this year, they receieved a new video called something or other.
Actually, your thread title, to be accurate, should read:
"This new JW video is so stupid that it has to be Watchtower"
caleb: dad, can i ask you a question?.
dad: of course, my son.
havent i told you that you can come to me whenever you have a question?.
Caleb: Dad, can I ask you a question?
Dad: yes, Caleb.
Caleb: You were gone on a business trip for a few weeks. According to yesterday's WT Study, you most likely engaged in homosexual activity. Did you?
Dad: Well, uh, Caleb, "homosexual activity" can mean so many things....
Caleb: Dad, are those tight pants you're wearing new? You know, 1/7th of the Faithful Slave (Tony Mo) is bothered by tight pants. In fact, he says they were invented by gay people.
Dad: "evidently" Jesus wore tight pants, so "clearly" it is a conscience matter.
Dad: Caleb, that's enough questions for today. Now go get your sister and let's wrestle.
Caleb: But, Dad, wrestle can mean so many things....
article is basicqlly about families where a spouse is working away from home for an extended period, etc...a foot note says basically that some studies have shown that working away from home can cause serious consequences, such as infidelity, homosexuality, or incest.
.
pull it up on jw.org...that is what it says.
Which culture/countries are the WBT$ referring to?
.
"reports from various countries..." is all you're going to get from WT, Punkie. Just trust the GB...they would never lie, misquote, take out of context, cherry-pick, fabricate, embellish or otherwise mishandle the facts.

WT comments like these reveal how pathetic WT "training" is. With all the posturing JWs do- claiming to be the most spiritual, most moral, and having the greatest integrity to god, it takes so little to turn a JW to the 'wrong' course.
WT, in it's attempt to address problems that don't even exist and send up an alarm to be dramatic, what they are really revealing is that the foundation of a JWs "faith" is laughably fragile at best. WT doesn't even believe in JWs.
"on october 2, 1914, charles taze russell, then president of the watch tower bible and tract society, boldly announced: the gentile times have ended; their kings have had their day.
how true his words proved to be!

I'm celebrating invisibly...
i have stumbled on a few youtube channels that are so funny and so thought provoking!.
one is a series by 'darkmatter 2525'.
the other is by ebolaworld called 'messed up bible stories'.
I discovered these a couple years ago. Very funny and all too true.
i now believe the bible is a book of history and myths.
the org and others still point to certain prophecys that lead them to believe, that god must have been involved.
how can we explain some of these?
