i've picked up two that stood out to me but i'm sure others will have noticed more:.

he gave an illustration about fearing god and he said it is like a wife who has spent all day preparing the evening meal for her husband and she hears him come home and perhaps she is trembling a bit out of fear that he might not like the meal she has cooked for him....!!!!!!!!????.

the other was about verbal abuse and how it should not be used but rather than site the effect it has or the forms it can take he said that we shouldn't call each other " dumb dumb" or "knuckle head" .

What happens when a JW meets someone at the door who actually knows their Bible and asks hard-hitting questions? The JW never goes back. No surprise they use the same tactic on online forums.

A JW simply cannot defend their own beliefs, so their only recourse is to tuck tail and run.

the jws make such a big deal about not taking (eating) blood in any form.

that being the case, shouldn't they avoid eating steaks?

even a well- done steak still contains the animals blood.

Technically, since you cut a steak into small bits, a JW is only eating "fractions" of steak...so, they are good under WT's convoluted reasoning.

See, use enough imagination and you can get around anything if you want to.

i was hoping it would plant a seed of doubt in his heart.

D-M: Perhaps I need to qualify ADCMS.. I was referring to the extreme ends of both the so called Christian and atheist spectrum. And you have to admit there are some pretty unpleasant individuals in both camps. I'm sure too there are also gentle and kind individuals in both circles.

Yes, I agree.

There's no group of people anywhere, of any persuasion, which doesn't contain a nutter or two. People are people.
