Phizzy: I have to disagree Smiddy, I wish they would change the way they operate, and fast, no more children should have their lives taken away by paedophiles because the WT/JW religion refuses to take easy measures.
This, of course, works on the assumption that WT's real actions/policies would reflect what's in print. As we all know, WT has a clear record of putting in print one "official" policy (the smokescreen) while continuing on with "business as usual" (the agenda).
Frankly, I'd rather have WT continue to do exactly what it already does in regard to its pedophile policy, that way the courts can deal with it on a real basis instead of having to sift through the rhetoric and deception in order to get to the truth. When the courts are dealing with a known problem they can then pummel WT accordingly.

by Emery insyneidos posted some interesting information on reddit regarding jw.org's latest project for the upcomming 2015 memorial campaign.. for next year's 2015 memorial campaign, jw.org is producing an invitational video featuring jesus.
the video is still being filmed at the moment and i was told it was super "confidential.
" my source already saw several scenes from it and said, "it looks and feels like a cinematic movie.

I would surmize that it does have to do with the recent rash of Watchtower pedophile reports in the news.
I have thought of this as well. While WT may think it's a brilliant move to talk about it, IMO it would be a huge mistake to even mention it. 99.9% of JWs are completely clueless as to the extent of the pedophile issue within the Org and the tens of millions $$ WT has paid in lawsuit settlements-published and unpublished.
The only available outlet to learn more about the issue is the Internet, since WT does not speak about it, and many JWs will go online to find more info. We all know where that will take them. Game over for any JW with two functioning brain cells, as the cat would be out of the bag and WT is fully exposed for it's culpability and secrecy.
Some, maybe many, JWs would buy WT's song and dance B.S. story, but many will also check it out for themselves.

I'm not trying to "win" anything. You blasted my recounting of what a CO, sitting at my dinner table, with firsthand knowledge of the MJ case personally related to me about the case.
I'll offer no more detail, but am obliged to repeat that you are either misinformed, inexperienced in matters such as these, or perhaps merely naïve.

I'm a fourth generation JW. My relatives in the first three generations wre CO's, DO's, Special Pioneers, etc. I've sat with members of the GB at assemblies, worked with them in the D to D work, and had them in my home for meals. I think I've seen a thing or two, but if my background still makes me "inexperienced","misinformed" or "naive" in your view, so be it.
You certainly are full of yourself.
