By Perry's logic I guess a person who doesn't believe in Unicorns or the Tooth Fairy must struggle with that everyday, too.

Why Do Atheists Struggle So Much Against God Who Supposedly Doesn't Exist?
by Perry inan athist made this casual statememt on another thread:.
this would suggest to me that there are at least some atheists that do have consistant beliefs.. .
as an atheist, how could he possibly trust the reason that suggests this to himself?

Early Christians were regarded as atheists because they denied everybody else's god except their own.
An atheist simply believes in one less god than a Christian does.

by LogCon inmarch 2015 study article learn from the illustration of the talents.
brothers and sisters worldwide will be overjoyed to know that the governing body finally has the.
courage to admit their mistakes .

"Courageous" is more like reckless abandon.
WT has to know ex-JWs will be all over this article.
If you want to know how humble WT is, just ask them- they'll go on and on about their humility (and courage).

The official requirement for salvation in the latest WT, nothing to do with Jesus......
by EndofMysteries in"those with the earthly hope who supported christs brothers in the preaching work will have been judged as sheep and will be granted the privilege of living in the earthly realm of the kingdom.
" 3/2015 study wt learn from illustration of talents par 13.. so there you have it, to get salvation you need to only obey the gb and if you obey and worship the gb, then you will be judged as a sheep.
truly those who listen and obey, will be blessed!.

Watchtower: telling Jehovah how things are going to be for over 135 years.
I'm glad to know that the bar is set so low, that if I just hang with T-Mo3 and don't wear tight pants, Jesus will smile on me.
nothing to do with Jesus......
Jesus (hay-soos) is now nothing more than the guy who mows the GB's lawn every Thursday. CT Russell trims the hedges.

"The truth of Christianity". Sorry, that's all I could watch...3 seconds. Starting from that premise, it can only go downhill from there.
Perry: How about choosing a few points and posting them for discussion rather than expecting us to watch an hour+ of nonsense?
What scientists are saying is that atheists deep down believe in order and reason which are not the product of chance and chaos
Which scientists are saying this?
but are consistent with being made in the image of God.
An atheist does not believe in god, therefore he does not believe he is made in the image of god. You do know what "atheist" means, right?
How about posting a link so we can put this in context:
"An ath[e]ist made this casual statememt on another thread."
this would suggest to me that there are at least some atheists that do have consistant beliefs.

Jesus saves.
Why doesn't he invest? Savings nowadays pays like .01%... not even enough to keep up with inflation.
I wonder how long before some uber-righteous Elder counsels Jesus about his facial hair?
Why is Jesus showing such a degree of aging? He looks like an old man?
He's not lucky enough to be in WT's "overlapping" generation. I wonder if he's realized yet he will be dead before Armageddon arrives?

Do the witnesses baptize in Jesus name?
by runForever inhttp://www.jw.org/en/jehovahs-witnesses/faq/are-jehovahs-witnesses-christians/.
the third bullet point there claims they baptize in jesus name.
i know the baptism questions never mention jesus once.. .

Jesus’ name, therefore, stands for the majestic and vast executive authority that Jehovah God has entrusted to him.
You gotta love WT's one-track mind...we've got our story and we're sticking to it...

Baptism vows up to 1985 were as follows:
"Have you repented of your sins and turned around, recognising yourself before Jehovah God as a condemned sinner who needs salvation, and have you acknowledged to him that this salvation proceeds from him, the Father, through his son Jesus Christ?"
"On the basis of this faith in God and his provision for salvation, have you dedicated yourself unreservedly to do his will henceforth as he reveals it to you through Jesus Christ and through the Bible under the enlightening Holy Spirit?"
These questions, or vows, were changed in 1985 to the following:
"On the basis of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, have you repented of your sins and dedicated yourself to Jehovah to do his will?"
"Do you understand that your dedication and baptism identify you as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, in association with God's spirit-directed Organisation*? Having answered yes to these questions, candidates are in the right heart condition to undergo Christian baptism."
.
As late as 1955, a person did not need to be baptised by the Watchtower Society to be considered a Jehovah's Witness. Baptism by another Christian denomination was considered valid, provided it was as an adult by full immersion. The Watchtower 1955 Jul 1 p.412 paragraph 20 explained that re-baptism was necessary only if the previous baptism was not in symbol of a dedication, or if it was not by immersion.
It was not until 1956 that baptism by the Watchtower Society became mandatory.
* please note that nowhere in the Bible will you ever find the phrase, "God's SPIRIT DIRECTED ORGANIZATION". So, JWs are being baptized into a fictitious entity...which is appropriate for a pseudo-Christian cult.
