  What Is The Most Effective Brainwashing Technique The Society Uses?

  it seems that for well over a century, the watchtower society has subtly controlled the minds of "thinking persons".

  what ways do you think that they are most effective?

  I have to agree with fear. The JW's I know are afraid of God, their friends, their neighbors, their fellow JW's, demons, any books movies ect. not published by the WTS. They are afraid of everything! I don't know why anyone would want to live that way.

  My JW Mom told me this morning (when I asked why she always cries at meetings) that she is unhappy because she is not doing enough of God's work. She doesn't go out in service often enough, she doesn't have enough book studies, ect.. Apparently she has "gotten the impression" that armageddon will be here soon and is worried enough about her status to consider quitting her job to pioneer.

  The joy of serving God's organization, yea right....... Tell me that's not fear.

  Lost My Job

  new manager named rod came in at wal-mart this week monday.

  today he got a call from marsh's office building asking for business references and apparently that pissed him off.

  i had dropped off a resume at the marsh office building around 1 1/2 weeks ago or so... he called me into his office via one of the customer service manager (csm) who asked me to follow her.

  10 things i learned in 2002

  1. sometimes life just sucks, take it and move on.. 2. scarlett was right, some things are best left until tomorrow.. 3. never count on someone else to look out for your best interests, if its important follow through yourself.. 4. home is where you lay your head down at night, wherever that is.. 5. dont even think this is the worst day of my life, it can get worse and you dont want to know how.. 6. keep your greatest treasures in your heart, youll never run out of storage space.. 7. give more love than you think you can, broken hearts do heal and heal stronger.. 8. everyone has two families, one they were born to and one they chose.

  9. you can always make friends, start with hi.. 10. the greatest measure is not what you have, its what you are willing to give.. happy new year!!.

  Baptism Age

  do you feel as if children in the watchtower organization get baptized too early in age?

  when you think that in most places, you have to be at least 18 years old to vote, go in a bar, or have a drivers licence.

  being told that it was the most important day of our life, wouldn't it be reasonable to wait to be at least 18 years old before getting baptized.

  I had to be 21 to legally buy a drink. The same rule should apply to baptism for Jw's and Mormons. Just my opinion.
