  Your views and ideas on forum areas and organization?

  this may come as a shock to some people, but the current forum structure was kind of thrown together without much real thought and then evolved a bit over time.

  there are a few things that particularly grate on me and areas where i don't think the subjects work particularly well.

  'friends' is a bit vague and becomes a dumping ground, news & world events vs politics & current affairs is hard to decide sometimes, child abuse is a scandal but isn't contained withing 'scandals & coverups' etc.... with a new forum platform imminent, it's a good time to solicit ideas to improve things.

  sorry, lol, didn't mean 'occult' in the negative, devil worship and all that.

  but it is the opposite of christianity, and it does semm to have a lot of connections and tied in history with the shaping of the world and religions.

  not even sure if occult is the correct word, 'supernatural' maybe. ? I dunno.

  1969 jw Bible. Was removed and changed. There used to be the word translation or explanation (something like that) and to carry on with their trickery and to fool everyone, the got rid of it. Someone told me this other day that

  Stuff You Would Lose If You Went Back

  so we know all the things the wts prevents us from doing, but that's much, much different than the stuff we've grown accustomed to.. for those who have been out for a number of years, what kind of things would end up being abandoned if you suddenly started going back to the kingdom hall?

  you know, stuff that you now do on the nights you used to attend meetings, the things you own, the things you wear, etc..

  Why do all the COs have food intolerances/allergies/special dietary requirments?

  it's a well known phenomenon i've observed from jwn, my own cos. a new co we had once who was fresh from being a normal elder and after a couple of visits he said, "well i've finally become a true co...i now have food intolerances.".

  i mean, only once did my husband and i ever have a co around for dinner and they couldn't eat this, he couldn't eat that, she couldn't eat this...it was so hard to cook something with none of the zillions of things they were 'allergic' to.. and then after all that the wife couldn't come anyway because she had a naturopath appointment or something.. why do all co's seem to have weird dietary problems?.

  when i first came to this site.

  whenever i would try to talk about somethign from the bible that the jw's got wrong or reason on a scripture that had so much feeling you would stomp all over it.

  talking about "flying spaghetti gods" and laugh at what seemed to be my expense and then leave the thread never to return and add any substance.

  excellent thread, I agree totally.

  It's about time people woke to reality and the facts.

  They may not agree or like what is being said, but they should research it 'all'.

  Hitler heavily involved in the occult ? It seems that he was.

  Aryanism. Atlantis. Aquarius, Satanism, religions, their all connected. Just run through the culture and history of the Kings and Queens of England and the politics that went on. the peasants sure were not privvy to what was going on in the higher echelons of power. society has changed a lot, but politics and the elite haven't. The same 'handful' of powerful, super-rich elitist family 'trees' are still running the show, and always will. They have the power and control. We are merely pieces in a global game of chess.

  Why would anyone 'not' want us to discuss these things ?

  Reading a very interesting book at the moment. Hidden dangers of the Rainbow, tells a lot about these things.

  Does God really have a personal name?

  the bible says that the personal name of god is jehovah/yahweh/jah etc.thing is,we don't know it's correct pronounciation (or the pronounciation of any hebrew name).the name jehovah as we know it today means "he causes to become".someone who causes something to become is just called "creator" or "maker".right?he gave that name to his self so that people or the angels could call him by a name.also,how was he called before the creation of the anything?how can some people claim to be his friends if they don't know his actual name?discuss.

  I have just started reading a book, I had no idea of the involment the nazi's/Hitler had with the occult, and the links with the 'new age' teachings.

  very interesting.

  and since we now know that je-hovah is not God's name and the je-hovah organisation is in fact a Satanic cult, it all fits together nicely.
