  when i got home from work last night my son was there and i was suprise to see him because it was meeting night and everyone else was gone.

  then his mother comes in hmmmmmm "did your son tell you what he has done?

  " nope well he has been having sex with his girlfriend the baptized pioneer elders daughter yikes my son (not baptized) and her were girlfriend and boyfriend untill her daddy stop them from seeing each other.

  I agree don't let the elders meet with your son alone. If I were him I would not meet with them at all. They might try and go thru your wife and have her sit in the meeting but your son needs you to back him up. He's very fortunate to have you.

  our niece, irene, who posts here as inky, sent me an email.

  her 27 year old son is getting married in two weeks, and she posted a few days ago about how he didn't invite her to his wedding.. she told me i can post it as she doesn't want to read it again.. "dear mom.

  i've needed to write this letter to you for some time now.

  That's what I was thinking Mulan. If he can write that to his own mother what scathing letter will his wife get when/if she does something he does not approve of. What does the non-jw son think of all this? I am so happy she has him at least. Take care Inky.

  What do the British think of Camilla Parker Bowles?

  i saw on the news this morning that the queen has invited camilla to a westminster abbey service to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the queen's coronation.

  from what i heard this is a major deal.

  i know 2 people that are from england.

  I meant for this to be a humorous thread. I think the people who were making fun of their looks thought the same thing. It's not like they are wrong. With the exception of Prince William, Harry and Dutchess Sophie (???) the rest of the royals could use some plastic surgery. j/k

  How many children is too many today?

  years ago, families were huge.

  it wasn't rare to see families of 9 or 10 children.

  today things are so different.

  As many as you want as long as the state does not have to pick up the tab. I was watching this show (20/20 I think) and it showed a couple that had 9 kids. They were on the verge of eviction and have been on welfare on and off thru the years.

  well, i finally got a response to my letter, and it only took them almost three months!

  models of efficiency, they are.

  actually, big tex and i think they had to run this through the legal department.
