And I am not sure of this, because I don't know the speaker or the context. But perhaps our society could do with a little honesty.
I'm certain that there are others out there that read this thread and kept their opinion to themselves. You see, I will preface the next sentence by saying that I know it is my own problem, and I couldn't give a rip if it was two guys walking down the street. But I could be made uncomfortable by two gay men being affectionate in public. If it we were in a group, say at a restaurant or bar, or perhaps at a party at house party, I would likely get uncomfortable. I know I'm not the only one.
Can it OK to be uncomfortable with something without being labeled a bigoted jerk?
Is the solution really that he should knuckle under the PC tyranny and keep his opinions to himself?

well, its been a while since i was made a unbaptized publisher.
now my hand is going to be forced and i will have to be baptized by the end of the year.
my gf wants my decision very soon, like the next couple of days.

hi everyone, all i wanted was a bible study, now we're at the point where we read 2 chapters in knowledge book, and the discussion turns to how i forsaking the inciting with others to worship,(something like that).
is there anything i can say to get them to accept that i'll go when/if i feel like going?.
this past weekend, they kept asking me what obstacles were in my way, i said i haven't had time, they go yeah you say that but there has to be something else, .
I'll tell you how get them to ignore you:
- Commit yourself completely to their cause - go to the hall, get baptised, the whole enchilada
- THEN tell them you don't feel like going and that you have some doubts about this whole 'Faithful and Discrete Slave' thing
They will leave you alone with a vehemence.
i'm interested in how many here give to the homeless, or any kind of charity, since that was not a part of the witness experience.
i have to admit that my heart is hard ...
This thread definitley has a kind of rhythm to it.
I want to say two things:
1. I would stack my charitable work up against anyone else's on this board.
2. Giving money to bums is the best way to get more bums.
