Epic Discussion ( Confrontation ) with JW Cart People about WT Child Abuse

so i had about had enough of reading jw's excuses online about wt child abuse and the candace conti nightline abc video about her case.

this is a really deep burning topic to me as i'm sure it is to many of you.

so today the gloves came off.

A few weeks ago my JW mother and I were discussing child abuse within the org. I blew a gasket when she claimed the elders turn in (physically) child molesters to the police! I asked her "you mean they call the police and wait till they come for them or do they take them to the police station themselves? Mom, I don't know who told you this but I KNOW for a fact that they don't do that!" (Apparently my BIL, who is an ubber JDub Elder, told her this to appease her. I know my BIL lied to her deliberately, he and I have discussed at length this subject and he has acknowledged how WT policy on child abuse is completely flawed but of course he will use theocratic warfare to protect the WT)

My mom and I continued talking about this and I tried to reason with her on several points, specially the two witness rule. She was stumbling all over herself in defending the WT. When she felt cornered she said "well, the Catholic church is worse, they just switch priests around!" I said "mom, we are NOT talking about the Catholic Church, but if you want to see what they do, let me show you something."

I showed her on my phone the website for our local Catholic Church and told her "at least now they are owning it and trying to offer help to victims. You see, they actually offer help to child abuse victims" and pointed to where it says in HUGE letters and on the Home page: "Safe Environment If you or someone you know has been the victim of sexual abuse by clergy or church personnel, contact the Victim's Assistance Coordinator for the Diocese of xxxxxx at (xxx) xxx-xxxx or email xxxxxxxxxx@xxxxx "

After my mother read it, I asked her "are they really worse? They are at least offering help to the victims! The first step in correcting this despicable crime within the congregation is acknowledging it and WT can't even do that! So of course they will NEVER put a link on JW dot ORG to offer help to child abuse victims!"

She asked me how did I know about Watchtower policy on child abuse. I so wanted to tell her I have read BOE Letters as well as other documents but without a "non-apostate" connection, I couldn't at that time. Now, ABC news has opened up a way! especially the Trey Bundy report on Revealnews.org For any lurkers - found here:

Trey's report is full of links to BOE letters and other evidence that shows they protect pedophiles, now I can show them to my mother next time I see her.

when was this business empire granted the trademark for their "golden calf"?.

and if they haven't been granted it, aren't they breaking some law over there in the u.s.a.?.

When the trademark is approved it clearly shows that. For example the trademark application for the "Watchtower" with the castle peeking behind the word Watchtower was clearly approved as the trademark events show:

The Watchtower IS currently part of the UNITED NATIONS as an NGO member of the OSCE (Organization for Security and Co-Operation in Europe) which follows the UN CHARTER.

THREE Watchtower Branches attended the "Review Conference in WARSAW September 30 - October 8, 2010". They are listed as NGOs on Page 2, 10, and 23. They are listed as:

During the Istanbul Summit in 1999, the OSCE stated their full allegiance to the UN Charter, you can see that statement here:

This statement is found in the OSCE Charter, which was adopted during the Istanbul Summit in 1999, it is on page 4:

" II. OUR COMMON FOUNDATIONS

7. We reaffirm our full adherence to the Charter of the United Nations... We reaffirm the OSCE as a regional arrangement under Chapter VIII of the Charter of the United Nations..."

It is clear that the OSCE follows the UN Charter. That makes Watchtower, an NGO member of the OSCE, part of the UN.

As many here may know, JWs have been all but been banned in Russia. The Watchtower continued to make submissions to the United Nations Human Rights Committee as recently as 2013 and 2014. This shows they are presently NGOs members within the OSCE.

Starting on page 11 of that submission to the UN Human Rights Committee, you can see the destruction of KH's and other violence toward JWs in Ukraine.

So this video, hmmm...perhaps a way to show their allegiance to the UN in a very 'Faithful and Discreet' way?

JT is really the Brass Eye of the anti JW world.
Satire so ridiculous yet it could be true.

Sadly I know a JW, Brother Sanctimonious. He continually bashes a family of JWs who's daughter had a court-ordered blood transfusion in the 80's. The child survived and is now an adult. Brother Sanctimonious would periodically ask if the child had developed any blood-born disease and would makes reference to parents who's children died 'faithful' to Jehovah. Disdain for these parents by Brother Sanctimonious was infectious and other members of the congregation showed contempt toward them as well, to the point where the family moved away.

I have met other JW's who display similar self righteous attitudes as Brother Sanctimonious.

Yes, JT is satire, based on the ridiculousness of real JW's.

I also got a laugh with this suggestion from "Dangers of Superstition". When disposing of demon infested objects the suggestion was to "Bury it in a church’s back lot. They won’t notice one more demon anyway."

JW's NOT identified by a symbol!!

*** km 9/74 p. 8 question box ***as jehovahs servants we.....................do not want to give others the impression that the tetragrammaton is the symbol of jehovahs witnesses as a whole.

we have no organizational symbol to identify ourselves but show that we are jehovahs christian witnesses by living in harmony with gods will.john 13:35.. don't you just love those "old" lights?.
