America is the epitome of evil. American people are oversensitive and they are closed minded (except for those Americans who agree with him). If your feelings are hurt by what you discern as his hatred of you and your people then you are oversensitive. If you feel that he is empowered as the board owner and only gives people who agree with him latitude to insult others then you are too feeble-minded.

Because people are encouraged to dismiss the writings as being 'false' when they are shown that the stories are not literally/historically true

I disagree with you. In saying that you obviously deny that mind control exists and that this fellow is a victim of such.

Can you not see the pure evil of religion in this? Here is a son who loves his mother (admits as much), but the power of his belief is stronger than his own ability to show and reflect normal emotion. I know for a fact that this person loves his mother and is suppressing his desire due to the mind control.

So let me see if I understand this then. You believe in some unprovable/unknowable being(there imaginary friend - if you cannot prove his existence then he is imaginary until you can prove otherwise) who speaks to the "select few". You then disregard the "select few" but still believe in the unprovable/unknowable being but now find some other source for the unprovable/unkowable being to supposedly communicate to you? Did I understand that correctly?

I find it weird that people can leave the bord and then still believe in an imaginary friend, and that the imaginary friend wants them to follow some other belief system. "God approves of something other than the borg"...

alright, i need a question answered, if possible with bible versicles.

do demons flee when someone pronounces god's name, jehovah?

i know this is a belief from the jws, but i don't know on what it is founded, or if it is.

I am afraid of my imaginary enemy, just like I love my imaginary friend unconditionally.

How phucked up is the world when people are willing to let their kids die because they believe it would displease an imaginary friend to give them a blood transfusion to keep them alive? How screwed up is it that parents will reject their grown children because some organization that has changed their mind about this subject in the past tells them that their imaginary friend will kill them at some future globlal battle if they show love to them or speak with them?

How screwed up are YOU if you allow belief in some imaginary friend govern YOUR life and actions? Do you love God more than your family members? What is the difference? You BELIEVE in some GOD but cannot prove that he exists - just as you cannot prove someone elses God exists or that the voices talking to the madman are real? You are in the same league as the person believing in the God you claim is false and in the same league as the madman. How can you claim that the God of the other fellow is false, yet you have as much proof as he does that your imaginary friends exist?

How messed up are you if you believe that invisible enemies are out to get you? You see some person who believes that black helicopters are spying on him and will harm him in the future? You and he are as nutty as each other....why? Because you have as much proof as each other that the "bad guys" are lurking to get you!!

You have been conditioned by fear. You can become unconditioned...I know I did. I have zero fear of any demon, devil or God. If I am wrong, so be it - show me a devil or show me a God...perhaps then I will believe the opposite one exists too. Until then please keep your paranoia to yourself and do not allow it to affect or screw up the lives of other people - they do not deserve to live as you do.

as most of you may have gathered, the past couple of years have seen some major downsizing in wts expenditure, not just overseas but in the us and canada, including the sale of some buildings.

building projects have been shelved, some half-way completed.

every congregation around the world was instructed to upgrade kindgom halls, probably for the purposes of asset protection, as the trustees of khs are only trustees *for* the wts.

From what I can tell there are 120,000 publishers in Britain.

If they donated $24 million 2 years ago then that is $200 for from each publisher for the year - IMHO that is quite a bit of money per publisher.

If we extrapolate that out and say they could raise the same for each publisher worldwide...ie. 6 million publishers times $200 we get a figure of $1,200,000,000 (1.2 billion)!!!! So either the average Briton is exceedingly wealthy, exceedingly stupid or both....

Now one year ago the British number dropped down to 18 million according to what HS posted. That works out to $150 per publisher. Following the same logic of extrapolation we arrive at $900,000,000. This leads us to conclude that the British either increased their IQ or Simon started receiving the difference in donations to fund JWD.

In all honesty, do you believe the published "revenue" numbers by the WTBS? I definitely do not. It is a well known fact that one is prudent to shield assets or to under-declare income or assets when one faces the potential of being sued.
