ahh...much better LT.
Thanks - I hate being taken outside my comfort zone.
earlier a thread emerged, as they do so often, on whether or not god existed.
i stated that he does, unequivocally and without doubt.
i refused to preface the statement with the phrase "i believe".

I am f'ugly.
Everyone who has met me from here has thought so too. I can just see it in their eyes.

LittleToe,
Quit being nice to me or agreeing with me or I will have to start liking you.

Since it is the believers who are stating that they have "faith", it is for them to define what they meaan by that, not the atheists.
In other words: my imaginary friend is real and you cannot see him without the 3d specs and I am not going to tell you what 3d specs to use...
this is a spin-off thread to one posted today about bethel trips.
i find the idea of bethel, holocaust museum and broadway somewhat repugnant.
i have written before about the society's almost sickening bleating on about the concentration camps.
I used to "enjoy" reading about and learning about the concentration camps as a youngster. Then shit happened...

I think it is healthy for people to go and visit these places.
That being said I don't think I could do it. I visited the holocaust museum and I could not get through it. At one exhibit I just broke down and wept like a baby and had to leave. Perhaps it is just too close for me because of my past, including that I have relatives (I never met them) who never made it out of a concentration camp - but that's another story.

My one imaginary friend is pissed off with my other imaginary friend...ooh my head hurts because they are fighting.
this is not an issue related directly to this board, but it is an issue related to every one of us here.
it seems to me as if society is about to undergo a radical upheaval in the form of an new energy crisis.
to put it simply we are running out of oil.
Actually the same principles do not apply at all. Gold is for all intensive purposes a commodity with close to zero utility.

This would seem to be a system of "false positives".
passing this on, i agree 100%:
can you imagine abraham lincoln running without mentioning his leadership during the civil war?
can you imagine fdr running without mentioning his accomplishments during world war ii?
This doesn't seem to be about the election for the most part but about accountability and partisanism. JMO.
Ok I guess the campaign ads have NOTHING to do with the election...my bad for thinking that. Oh, wait why are the ads running again? Are they advertsing some new detergent or a toilet duck?
