  Nova Scotia declares STATE OF EMERGENCY..

  we are in the midst of the worst blizzard of the winter today.. state of emergency.. for nova scotia has been just declared.. snow plows have stopped plowing and are looking for stranded motorists.. series 103 highway has been declared impassable... i'm bunkered down with my 3 kids..and can hardly see out the windows..they are all gummed up with horizontal snow... sincerely bunkered down with my kids.. special k

  Ohhhh.... how I can give you some of the hot and warm that I feel here. Only you need is a piece of sun, and maybe if you think in the next summer you can get not depressed. Be ok.

  One question.... what will you do next april 04, sunday?........ I know you have a lot of ideas for being so far from the KH that day, and not attending the Memorial. And maybe, you are planning what to say when your friends JW ask to you the reasons for not being there. Or maybe, you'll be there, dressing beauty clothes and smiling every one at the KH only as an obligation. Or maybe, because you love all the meaning of that night.

  Dear Special K

  For me it's so difficult to understand what's happening with all of you there. Here, in Santiago of Chile, we have 33° celsius, it's so warm. The sun is burning everything, we are getting roasted.

  A question for former pioneers.

  everytime you go to an assembly or to a convention or the co pays a visit, there's always a call for people to pioneer.

  they always drag out a couple of pioneers on to the stage and "interview" them.

  the one question they always ask is if the pioneers have any regrets over pioneering.

  I was a pioneer for 4 years. The CO always called me for attending the special meetings for the pioneers at the Assembly Hall by the time of the circuit assembly, and I was an instructor for those ocassions. I have to be honest, I enjoyed those moments, and I have good remembrances of it. But at the present, I wouldn't spend any time in that activitie.

  Dreaming on JW model

  hi friends.

  i was reading that naomi campell's mother is an active jw, and i understood that she was preaching to her daughter about the marvelous and wonderful organization that is the wt, and for a moment i thought that for all the males in the congregations would be so nice to have her as our sister..... imagine......sister campbell is arriving to the meeting at the kh and she is late and walks slowly looking for a place to get sit, she is wearing beautiful red underwear...... or maybe, in front of wt headquarters in ny, the organization placed a "pasarela" (i don't know the word for the place where the models walk showing dresses) and all the bros and sis are buying the watchtower and awake magazines from the campell's hands.

  here in chile, we have a brother who owns a factory of women underwear called "intime".. chileanrick

  LOTR and HP are films and books containing a lot of supernatural facts. The Bible contains some topics in the same way. I mean, it doesn't matter if is Jehovah God, Satan or others who are making somethings out of natural, or containing some violence...... imagine, a serpent "talking" to a woman, a pair of swords closing the paradise, a profet taken away by a wind with a fire chariots, Jesus walking on the water, Moses and the 10 plagues and others....... so, I think the only difference between the Bible and secular books is the name of the author.

  Which is worse: Going in Service or Having a Meeting on a Holiday?

  i used to dread the prospect of having an evening meeting to to go hanging over my head all day long on a major holiday, almost as much as being compelled to ``go out in service.".

  Has anyone been barred from K.H. or convention?

  have you ever heard of an abuse victim being disfellowshipped, then barred from coming to the kingdom hall or to a convention?

  this threat has been made to a good friend of mine here in the u.s. can they (the elders) really call the police to have someone removed who is just sitting there quietly?

  Here in Chile isn't possible to stop anyone from coming to the meetings, all the KH are public places, but of course if someone is trying to disturb the meeting, the police can take him away.
