I would write to the JC and say 1 - you expect immediate action by a JC to investuigate the charges of lying and slander against your accusers as no evidence exists
2 - ask what reason the accusers had to "spy" on you other than to maliciously frame a case against you
3 - advise the JC that as you have heard no credible evidence against you, and have provided clear character reference to substantiate your standing in the community and moral character you will seek damages personally against each and every member for defamation if they pursue a DF decision based on malicious fabrication - which they are colluding with if the continue to DF
4- insist that copies of all correspondence and discussions concerning you from the JC to the CO/DO/ Service Desk be made available to you or your lawyers
5 - write your ex and daughter stating your intention to Sue them for defamation and malicious falsehood causing you actual personal and financial loss
6 - insist they espect youre constitutional rights to privacy and a quiet life with no further intrusion into your affairs
7 - copy the letter to Borg HQ Service Dept and body of elders of former wife/daughter
8 - copy letter to all those who have written shunning letters to you adding that you have every intention of "adding" them to your legal claims for damages for defamation
9 - forget the lot of them and enjoy life - looks like finishing with ex was a great step - keep it up and get back to real life untroubled by these perverted control freaks
10 - but write the letters anyway - they hate hassle and potential trouble

So sick to death of the whole 'find Maddie' campaign - now includes Pope
by needproof ini am sure most of you are now aware of the missing british girl madeleine mccann, who was abducted from portugal a few weeks ago.
the media is making a massive thing about this, and i am just wondering why.
they say 70,000 kids go missing each year in the uk alone - but this case seems to be unique in that it is so widely reported.

My personal opinion is that there's been so much hype about this particular case simply because the parents are wealthy.
Have to agree with that - if it was a single parent mother on social security the press would have vilified her.
I am now sick and tired of hearing about children selling their toys so Maddie can be found etc etc and also of the sight of the parents trotting about for the cameras , going to Mass, walking on beach, swimming etc etc- also appalling that in UK the Portuguese Police system castigated - if u go on holiday to any country the law and its systems are what u will get -
Read that parents admit to being "naive" in leaving the children alone - "naive" is not the word I would use - holiday resort restaurants cater for families - what if one of the younger twins had woken - toddled off and fallen into a swimming pool? -

URGENT - UK Elders (or elders wives)
by S EIGHT ini am in urgent need of a copy of a letter sent to uk elders in regard to weddings held at the kh and specific comments about the responsibilities of the brother giving the wedding talk.
i'm told this is a fairly recent letter.. we have an elder kicking up hell about innactive ones who want to come and watch the wedding.
he happens to be the one giving the talk and is acting like he has full control on this wedding.

UK Civil & Church Weddings (as in a Kingdom Hall) are required by law to be open to any any every person who wishes to be present as they may wish to answer the question "if any man knows of any lawful impediment to this marriage let him now speak..."
The registrar (probably the brother not doing talk, but likely a local brother who is registered as the civil registrar for the KH) has to ensure that this is the case as otherwise post the wedding an application to overturn the ceremony can be made to the Registrat General, if the ceremony was behind closed doors.
The published banns of marriage (posted at the local registry office) advice the public of the date and time of the ceremony which has to allow for objections from any person.
As ever it seems that a pompous prat of an elder is playing God again with "secret letters" which only they are privy to. He should be pointed in the direction of the Statute law of England which tends to overide his self displayed importance. -

"The R&F cult members will never even notice the change!"
How true - I remember acting as WT conductor when the Generation change was studied - looked at a sea of blank faces who had no idea the rug had just been pulled from under them - bland answers from those who had no clue what had just happened - no wonder David Blane can do so well - most people are 100% gullible -
CO visited shortly after and asked if any were disturbed over change - branch office had asked him to ask around about this - I told him not to worry, they would not notice it if we reversed 1914 to 4191 as the date of Christs Kingdom power -

as can be seen on their website they do actively seek donations which does go against the point made earlier re Social Services paying in cases of need.
If all costs are covered by the State or the person themselves where do the donatons go?
An interesting thought is that with the new equality legislation in the UK they may (probably will be) breaking the law by discriminating by means of religion as they should accept on basis of need not belief - might pursue that with the Charity Commission and Social Services depts in the areas they work in! -

I seem to recall from researching this outfit that the local JWS in general are encouraged to make donations, regardless of having a relative in care.
If RBC and free labour built any/part of these then high time that the Charities Commission looked at the setup.
I wonder if the Bethel have "contributed" any old timers beyond working.
One point made on their website (again from memory) is that it is possible for an individual to be taken into their care without paying if they have no funds, as contributions of others cover the cost, all in all an odd mix of profit and charitable status. -

So - they expect to be around in 2008 (must be one of the few years they did not expect to have the Big A) Magazine distribution slashed - good way to cover over falling distribution anyway - as the accountants say - when the figures don't help, change the way you use figures as a basis for comparison
Layoffs now due in printing / writing / support / translation etc etc - soon be down to emailing the study article to the remaining few faithful ones - all reassigned to the field to distribute less of the magazines !!
Jehovah is doubtless blessing this reduction in output - the change prompted by falling numbers and rising costs so he must really be blessing them - I see politicians here on TV turn any disaster into a victory as they squirm and lie freely, avoiding the question, well the WT can put a good gloss on just about anything - would be fun at the study for the annual report --WT conductor -"would someone like to comment on Magazine Distribution last year?"- "Yes please Sister Misled -" Sister Misled - "...is it not just thrilling to see Jehovah's hand in the report - World Wide we reported a 50% drop in Magazine numbers - are we not blessed to be in the spiritual paradise......." - at which point we should leave the study to the confused and the condemned
They could crawl under a snakes belly, wrestled custard and plait fog Good to see them prosper! -

John Blaney = old timer now long gone
He was in the days when COs moved every week to new accomodation but if he liked it in the cong he was at he tried to stay put - he used to get sisters to iron his copy of the Daily Telegraph every day.
He had a huge tie collection from admiring sisters - Pioneers mtg the was Tuesday aftyernoon so with John the meeting involved just unloading his old van of all his possessions into his new accom for the week - he had enough stuff to fill the Albert Hall - old gramophones, typewriters, tables etc. Used to claim that in the War he got onto trains and passed checkpoints by proclaiming that "stand aside....I am on urgent business for the King"
His overcoat had more poachers pockets than a Dingle in Emmerdale and he always had 10 or so books in there - his favorite being the Babylon book
Took him on a Back Call or Return Visit as now and the householder was not interested and quite curt - closed door - John went round the back and hammered on the kitchen door
mad as a hatter but very popular
could write a book of JB stories
Buckingham - Ted & Jim - Ted was a DO then went into Bethel - Jim was in Bethel (purchasing?) - Ted in writing dept.
