What I observed was many young couples marry at far too early an age simply because of the pressure on them to conform (you are dating so you should be engaged/marry) and because the only route to sex was marriage - nearly all failed as sex not the only key to a happy marriage.

What can happen with gifts to "loyal" witnesses (for DA relatives) is that they pass the money over to the WT as if the money was unclean to them but would be alright in "mother" got it - leaving money to those who do not need it/ would not use it likely increases the pot they will leave to "mother" when they leave the scene themselves.

Crematoriums are in use most of the day - they have a schedule and probably after this funeral, anopther was waiting outside. This is not the nanny state - just simple manners - I have taken loads of JW funerals at Crematoria and there is a time slot for the service, and there was always a funeral service to follow of another person and the family for that needs consideration and not leaving in funeral cars waitinf for the previous service to finish - the charge/fine or whatever you want to call it is a simple means to ensure that everyone uses just the time alloted and does not burden a following family with extra wait.
The time to have sat with a coffin is before arriving at the crematorium

Ireland Criminalizes Blasphemy - how will this affect the WTS?
by HalfWayThere inhttp://www.spiked-online.com/index.php/site/article/7171.
from tfa:.
"aside from a 25,000 fine (reduced from the 100,000 originally sought by the government), the new defamation act gives the authorities the power to stage raids on publishers: the courts may now issue a warrant authorising the police to enter, using reasonable force, premises where they have grounds for believing there are copies of blasphemous statements.".

In fact the Irish President has "called in" the legislation for potential reference to the Supreme Court to rule on its constitutionality. The "Council of State" consisting of the President, any former Presidents the Irish Prime Minister (Taisoeach) and his deputy and the leader of the Senate together with the Chief Justice will decide this week if the new law potentially conflicts with/ or expands the Constitution - as if it does a Referendum is Mandatory - if they refer the case to the courts and they rule it is a constitutional Bill then it will die and not be enacted.
It is rare for a President to refer legislation to the Council of State
The Irish Constitution already mandates that "blasphemy" shall be a crime punishable by law but no ruling on what/how etc has ever been made and this is an attempt to do that by tagging this item to a much broader Criminal Justice Bill. Some view it as a fop to the Catholic Church that legislation is planned - however following the Ryan Report the Catholic Church is in a tailspin of collapse.
The WT will carry on as always - if such a bill was enacted they would seek to wriggle round it and use it to their advantage and as they appear to be ruled from the top by Lawyers then this is simply meant and drink to them

Letter to UK Chaities Commission
by stillajwexelder inspelling and grammar need to be improved and perhaps it should be toned down a little.

I agree with fokyc - a letter such as this just destroys your credibility, I have no doubt you feel strongly about this issue but you will get nowhere with a letter the style of which makes the reader think ...."nutter"
Sit down calmly and make your points one by one with specific evidence - the chatrities commission in the UK do NOT deal with emotions or emotional hurt, they regulate charities according to the law and you are giving them no reason to examine your issues - you need to make specific complaints
Nothing personal but seriously - your letter harms the work of those who are exposing the JW organisation.
