this time around you would have learned that jws are cleaner and less profane when using a public facility (stadium) than a pack of rabid football fans... what a revelation!
you got a point there about the marble bathrooms because i went to a convention in san bernadino in august at the assembly hall there and honeslty talk about feathering your own nest , you are so right it looked like a las vegas casino, now that u say that its dawned on me, very valid point they should be more modest and be hellping the africans more.....

last week i visited brummie land and it gave me a lot to think about, in particular my jw grandmother and here is why.
she was born in 1914 and was of the generation that was waiting for the new system to usher in paradise....she waited and waited .
she would have been around when all the bible students were waiting for 1925 to usher in the new system.

awwwwwwww brummie, that is soo sad, but i understand what you mean, and i think the creator knows how faithful your granny was and he wont forget that, i lost my nana too and shed had a hard life and when my dads eldest bro was 14 he was working at an army camp in london, and was kidding around got a pistol said" if i was hitler id do this" and he pulled the trigger while the gun was at his head.... he died........
my grandmother was devastated, then in 1984 my other uncle dave killed himself by hanging, the family never told my nana they were worried the grief of that knowledge would kill her, i often think when she is ressurected that god in his mercy willl give her back her sons, theres got to be a purpose to all we go through .. dont worry brummie your granny will be back someday i have no doubt abt that

i just want it confirmed do jehovahs witnesses celebrate birthdays & christmas.
or do worldly people not celebrate them ime confused.
i have seen a presiding overssers whole extended family celebrating birthdays,& receiving birthday presents from each other/holding partys over the christmas period/mind you they were allso married in december ) so that they wouldnot miss out on the christmas spirit all legal and above board ,.still serving in ( avery hill congregation london se9.
recently i had a experience with this, an elders daughter in her late 20' mind you, did some malicious gossip about me, and i beleive her father and the rest of her family and extended family ie , mothers cousins and there husbands were all involved in fact i know they were as some called and trapped my son into telling them information about my private life.
NOW THAT MADE ME MAD!!!!!
but the point is i could have gone to the other elders and told on her but i kow this for a fact that they would have all gotten away with it so i didnt want to waste my time, its easier for me to fade because i beleive if I had caused a stink over it,i would have been the one who got the blame, I know what they are like, and you are right one set of standards for them because they r of the elite" elder" class and so are their family, everyone kisses their lilly white asses all the time. it makes me sooo sick. its like a class distinction , yep thats exactly what its like class distinction grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
its true i was a nobody for 13 yrs because im not married and dont have family in the truth, or related to anyone who is an elder on and on.... or a pioneer or connected in some way, so you get ignored.....well ppppppppppppttttttttttttttttttttt.

well, kids, it's that time of year again!!!
the time of the year when the rest of the western world slows down just a little, gives thanks for what they have and stops bitching about what they don't have, and thinks of lending a helping hand to their neighbors a little bit more....you get the idea!

me too i remember charities used to ask me for money, i was a single parent and i couldnt afford to put money in the contribution box at the hall so i used to say well if i cant afford to put money at the hall then i shouldnt be giving money to these ppl, man i feel bad now thank goodness jehovah knows we are mislead....
i have been df'd for a good long time and have gone/going through the different stages of the healing process but i dont think that i am anywhere to giving up all of my deep-seated anger and hostility that i continue to have.
i have gotten attatched to it, ironically enough.
my moral and maybe somewhat ethical delimmna is: i am in a service provider position and i provide translation services for members of a specific community of interest...problem is that a certain person has come into my focus of the world...an elder.......a great many bones in my body want to manipulate and maneuver his life into the palm of my hand....then crush him.
well zanex mate i only stopped going 3 months ago, and beleive me i know all about elders and what they do my friend, but they r all individuals and for all you know he may be a very loving person and straight up so mate dont judge all people by a few, give him the benefit of the doubt, be polite and i think what that other guy suggested is a good idea be super nice to him then at the end say that, heaps firey coals in a good way makes ppl think :) and as far as me resolving anger is concerned no i havnt in fact all the things that you want to do to that elder i want to do to certain people for good reasons because the sons of bitches deserve it, i havent as yet felt that toward Jw that i dont know, the org yes but not individuals unless the actually hurt me, but beleive me i know all about anger my friend, and pain and all that stuff, we need to help each other and anyone who needs to vent im more than good at listening..

zanex i understand the anger you must be feeling but remember he is an individual and you are angry at the org and whatever it is they have done to you and others, and he may still be in the dark about things just like we were once.
he is probrably just doing what he thinks is right, put yourself in his shoes imagine if you were he and someone else was feeling that about you, the best way to deal with it if you dont want much to do with him is just see him as u do any other person just another human being, and treat him like you would want to be treated, take his elder label off, remember hes a person too, please remember that you are angry at the organisation as a whole not an indvidual, and im sure underneath all your pain and anger you are a loving person, or striving to be one, so look on this person with pity that he doesnt know what you know ok, its not his fault hes been mislead by them just like we have, and hes not a mind reader he doesnt know what you have suffered, so to take it out on him as an individual would not be fair, i know youl do the right think my friend...

i used to ask my elder dad: what about those who lived inbetween the bible days, and when the witnesses started?.
the wts teaches that no one will survive unless they are a witness.
they may dance around that issue with a "wordly" person, but, that really is the way they teach.. so we have the people talked about in the bible, and then we go until the very end of the 1800's.
I think she meant who was taking care of the so called true worship during that hugeeeeeeeeee gap LOL
