  a friend of mine recommended i peruse this forum because he is of the impression i would find it rewarding.

  the basis of his recommendation was due to a very long friendship and not due to any association (that i do not have) with jehovahs witnesses.

  he considers me his superior in intellect and wants an appraisal of this sight but to be honest i have neither the incliniation nor the time to get in deep enough to comment.

  My comment on superior intellect was directed specifically at my friend and not at anyone i didn't know. you should understsand that statement would inherently be flawed if i didn't know you. I only said it as a means to filter him out. So please don't bother taking offence witth that.

  If you want a question the issue of shunning i find interesting at the moment and also i would like an idea as to how many people that frequent this site are for and how many are against the Jehovahs Witness Movement. (guesses i expect)

  I would also like to know how i can tell who has posted the response as i read it (where is the info to be found) and who keeps quoting that silly statement "if you put yout hopes in imperfect people....et cetera)

  On my Friend

  I don't doubt this forum would pepetuate if my friend did leave that is what he said. I would assume judging by his character that he did not reveal anything about himself. So if you have any guesses as to hid identity please accompany it with a charactersitc so that i may more easily ascertain.

  On my Conclusion in reference to The Movement.

  I see alot of resentment amongst you all. This is further playing into the hands of the players pulling the strings. the decomposition of the Jehovahs witnesses was imminent. This is why they foretold the end was nigh. I saw that as ridiculous back in the 80's and so deduced that they needed to be wrong so they could lose the following and thereby realise the immense capitol wealth they have built in their Kingdom halls. If you want to go against the grain then continue with what you know was good in your readings and revitalise the enormous potential from within. If you leave you lose.

  i thought i had it all sorted out...friends, kissing friends, non friends, etc.

  people should stick with the label i give them damnit.. .

  Yes in fatct my friend is a member of this forum and he is almost certainly here now. who he is is another question however. He didn't want to tell me as he considers himself to be a keystone in the direction this forum takes and did not want to jeopardise his identity, he informs me that his identity is very wanted that being said you all could probably tell me who he is.

  It is funny but the reason he asked me along i am suspecting is because all of these things which you are now complaining about i predicted many years ago. And now he feels like saying you told me so. You are very Humble indeed i take my hat off buddy

  And so the personal attacks begin. If you equate condescending remarks with rhetoric then you lose period. Lose what you ask, lose whatever contest you started. I only asked for some of you to substantiate the evident mass of time you are dedicating to this sight and in the event that you are to lacklustre in mind or spirit you could perhaps recommend some postings. if that is too much trouble then you all have little regard for your own time and activities. So feel free to call me a twit and rest assured it really hurts me.

  if the local congregations have no money to pay their own bills and the numbers of witnesses continue to drop off, how will the society last?

  we've heard about down sizing and layoffs.

  we've seen congregations merge because the bills aren't getting paid.

  Go Broke Ha

  When my close friend first became a witness i did some quick reading of its history. I noticed it was grossly mistaken (around the turn of the last century from memory ) and this coupled with the most gloomy outlook i have ever seen a bunch of adults actually believe brought me to the quick conclusion that the jehova's witness movement is designed to fail every so often. The reason for this i assumed was because unless all the believers banished they would not be able to realise the immense capitol wealth that they have created in the Kingdom halls. As i hear people leaving i see the first stages of this occuring now.

  Sorry but as far as i am concerned there are thousands of boards like this one. My friend is of the opinion the board needs me not the inverse. So you will all have to do better than that, either impress me today or lose me.
