Do U Drive @ 55?

who among us here, when on the freeway does the standard speed of 55mph.

i'd like to say that i'm a law abiding citizen, however......

it's a wonderful thing that many folks wish to follow the rules of the road but you people who don't keep it rolling with the rest of the crowd at 65-70mph are risking a catastrophe.

I generally cruise on the Motorways here in the UK at 90 MPH (130 KPH) sometimes upto 100. In Germany where many of the Autobhans have no speed limit you can often see hot sports cars doing 130MPH.

as everyone had guessed, the election has been set for may 5th.

personally, this is my first opportunity 'post wt mind-control' to vote for our next government.

i don't suppose that i will - 40 years of 'neutrality' and non-involvement have rather flattened my desire to take part in political change.. how about you?

How old do the Witnesses say the earth is?

we all know that the witnesses say that adam would be a little over 6000 years old.

they use the bible to back that up.. how old do they say the earth is, and what would they use to back that up?.

In Greenville, SC is Bob Jones University, a very fundementalist Baptist school. One of the professors there does not believe in dinosaurs - no biblical evidence. He publicly stated that God created the earth with buried dinosaur fossils, but there were never really any dinosaurs.

The best witness solution to this problem I heard was that Satan went back in time and put the fossils in the ground to decieve us in modern times.

I remember being taught that a creative day was 7000 years, then again I grew up with the 1975 generation. I guess this is another case of the WTS papering over the cracks and changing thier minds in their usual, say nothing for a while, hint at new light, bring up the dimmer swich on the new light slowly so no one notices.

JWD flyers on cars at KH's

what if we all printed up some flyers advertising ..........seek the truth about the truth.go to jw.com for the answers to questions youv'e had or may have.read articles from the watchtower that the society hopes you will never find.. could we legaly put those on their windshields during a meeting?im sure we could do it at least once,and then if asked to leave comply with their wishes.its a well nown fact that out of 100 or 1000 or 100,000 that some will take the bait and check it out just due to human curiousity.. if we all started using the same informal preaching as them such as dropping flyers at laundry mats and phone booths and grociery stores etc you would think it would catch on.i havent counted all the members of this board and how many countries are represented but it sure looks like a lot to me.. what do you guys and gals think?..............ken

I had a similar idea recently. Would any of you be interested in an internet site where you could anonymously send postcards to your JW Family old friends etc from various parts of the world.

The cards have various messages on them. As they are not in envelopes the key message is seen straight away. There would be a veriaty of different messages, 607, UN issue, links to sites, etc....

Let me know if you are interested, I have the web site already set up so that I cannot be traced either.

My Sister was born in 1972. Everyone at the hall would look at her in her pram and say, at least she will never have to go to school.

My Sister is now 'out' living with the father of her children and her eldest child is about to start school.

Does this website sell my e-mail address???!!!

this is the only website i come to when i'm at work and post stuff, and the only one that i've given my work e-mail and ever since i get all this spam and gargage e-mails at work that i always delete.. does anyone else experience this?

does this website sell or shares our e-mail address with spamers?.

One thing I learned when I started getting spam is:-

Never click the link at the bottom of the email saying

"Click here to be removed from this list"

All this does is tells the spammer that you have a genuine email address and you will end up with even more spam.

Do you think that JW's will print a "new" book on Revelations?

the wts has printed several books on revelation since it's inception in 1879. many of the prophecies that were predicted in the studies in the scriptures book failed miserably.

next the two "light" books the same predictions were reworded failed also.

the society tried again with the 60's books then is the finished mystery of god book and the babylon the great has fallen book.

How does the society explain 5 more partakers at the Memorial?

i think it's kind of funny.

how do they explain more people this year than lasts?

i thought the number was suppose to get lower as they died off?

Of course non of this even begins to account for those that may have died. As these are supposed to be very old people, the death rate should be quite high.

Something is definately wrong with these figures.
