I need to know more on why its a problem for me dating a JW girl.

ok not to throw no shade or no disrespect to the jw religion.

which i truly do respect because my girlfriend is part of but i just don't understand, i have researched so much about it.

so much about how its discouraged for her to be with me just cause of different religion.

The "without a problem" part depends on her solely. She would have to leave and never look back. And even then the indoctrination is so strong that you might wake up 10 years down the road and all of a sudden she wants to go back. Tumultuous world events (wars, terrorist attacks, etc) usually trigger this because she'll think the end is near and she will be destroyed because she left. It took me more than 20 years to shake that off.

Hi Cindy. If I were in your situation I would avoid expressing doubts. You can't reason with them and it will only lead to you being labelled an apostate. Just say you're depressed, they have no arguments against that. Slowly stop going to meetings. They'll try to encourage you at first but after a while they'll get used to your absence. Avoid being an apostate at all costs. Good luck.

the watchtower published anthony morris iii's autobiography last year ... "remembering my first love has helped me to endure" by anthony morris iii.

i absolutely cannot believe how quickly he became a jehovah's witness.

in the span of less than a year, he attended his first meeting, studied, got baptized, became a pioneer, and married a jw girl.

and now he even has the privilege to tell jehovah and jesus how to live their lives, and they better listen.

What is the Education Level of the Governing Body members?

i would love to compile a list of the education obtained by the governing body members both past and present.

can anyone provide any information to get me started?.

it still amazes me they think they can translate ancient languages with an 8th grade education.

They all have an equivalency of a college degree, that is if they read their awake for at least four years

Happiness and Freedom On A Paradise Earth?

at a recent meeting there was a watchtower article about life in paradise.

they were saying that even when witnesses finally get there they will still be under the strict instructions from the elders and gb.

they may be given jobs that they will find unpleasant, also the preaching work will be ongoing because of all the resurrected people who need to learn about why they are given another chance.

Jesus washed his disciple's feet, maybe the elders will end up washing toilets after all..lol
Some of them already do. Literally.
Isn't that what some of 'em do professionally, already?

i'm probably going to say some things here that will disappoint many.

there are some that may look back over the years and say "man i really blew it" i'm not writing the following to scold for failures, but rather to help those who are young enough to put into practice what god wills for their life, and also to those of us who are in our middle years that still have time to change some things, in order to please god and find a peace that only being in his will can bring.

first let me say that god didn't create man for you.
