  This reaction makes sense to ordinary, unbrainwashed people.

  But, trust us, this is a bad move because their minds have been compromised. Their ability to use critical thinking has been compromised!

  Story after story on this forum proves that this way of doing things just does not work.

  Be miserly with your new knowledge and reveal small things slowly. This has been the way that has shown the most success by people on this forum.

  This is regarding a situation in which your child is hospitalized and the hospital wants to give your child blood to save its life.

  *Highlight (lowlight)

  Don't allow the hospital to sneakily get a court order without your knowledge. Demand from the beginning that you as a parent be included in the proceeding and use the Hospital Liason Committee recommend alternative treatments to the judge.

  Also *DO NOT mention your hope for the resurrection for your child as it may make you "appear unreasonable." ( yes, it does )

  Theocratic warfare yet again.

  If you were a judge, would you believe testimony from the Hospital Liason Committe or medical doctors, specifically the ones treating the patient?

  I would hope that hospitals would be aware of this and know to get a court order immediately upon the discussion with the parents that they are refusing blood. Emergency court orders happen at all times of day or night.

  I talked to the surgeon who was performing bloodless surgery for my father and asked him about children. He told me that he was confident that he could do the surgery successfully on my father, but pointed at my nephew who was a toddler and said he would get a court order for him "like that" and snapped his fingers.

  A typical Wednesday evening Drunk story

  Court is Wednesday the 16th of March.

  None of our family have been subpoenaed to testify, but we will attend for moral support.

  The lady came to the neighbor's house to apologize for hitting his cars and she brought flowers! Can you believe that?

  He told her thanks, but he didn't want to talk. He'd see her in court.

  And, yes, Wings, the kid had a great time in Pittsburgh. He visited some kind of thrift shop and came home with a long wool coat. He thought he'd upgrade his image.

  I told him it probably came from some old JW who died and they donated all of his stuff. It screamed "elder field service coat!"

  the only catch.

  you can only ask one question plus a follow up.. my fave so far is would you want your daughter to marry a man who was unfaithful every few months with prostitutes.. what would you ask him?.

  Regarding that song, it was also in the purple songbook before the brown one, though I don't know the number. If I remember correctly, it had a somewhat soft cover, not the stiff board of the brown songbook. It was also thinner, though it was roughly the same dimensions. It was called Singing and Accompanying Yourselves with Music in your Hearts. This was the first one I remember in the '70s. I believe the brown one appeared in the '80s.

  Maybe it doesn't really matter that some organizational memories are lost.

  It's certainly not the same religion anymore and it makes you wonder whether your memories are even relevant for the younger folks who are questioning things right now.
