Don't shut down YOUR Facebook account. That just means they've won on some small scale. No! Learn to use your settings and security protocols correctly. Got people messaging you? BLOCK THEM. Keep on blocking people until they all get the message. Have your FB settings so that ONLY your FRIENDS can see your posts. That's it! People leaving their social media "open" is a huge problem that comes back to bite them in the ass. Lock it up, people! Don't less the assholes of the world win.

the elders have left me alone for the most part i think because of my jw husband.

Texas school alternative fundraiser for the the PTA. Great idea
by James Mixon inthis was sent to the parents.... for $15.00 check box____i do not want to bake, so here i would have spent on the cupcakes.. $25.00____i do not want to hit up friends, family and co-workers so here is the money.
i would have spent buying wrapping paper.. $50.00____i do not want to walk, swim or run in any activity that has the word "thon" in it.. $75.00____i don't want to attend any fancy balls, so here is money i would have spent on.
a new outfit.. $100.00____i really wouldn't have helped anyway so here is $100.00 to forget my name..

My son just started 6th grade. Every child in grades 4-6 are issued Apple mini-iPads for the school year. Grades 7-12 are issued full-sized iPads. Reason? Most textbooks are on the iPads now. No more carrying that heavy book-bag around! You can email your teacher at any time. Also, some lectures/lessons (especially Math) are recorded, so the child can re-watch the lesson if they didn't understand it the first time. Awesome!
The kids have to turn them in at the end of the year, and also they are all set-up with certain permissions so the kids can't play games, download inappropriate Apps, or watch porn, etc.
The school has a few fundraisers throughout the year. So do the sports teams. Most are apparel or food, so we usually end up getting something. No big deal. I'm 36, we had fundraisers when I was in school as well, though I hated them. I was forced to go door-to-door for the JW crap, but was forbidden for doing so if it benefited my school or school athletic teams. It didn't benefit Jehovah's Organization of course. Freakin' hypocrites!

1.) Since when you are two the Masters of my faith?
2.) My husband isn't here, so why are you?
3.) Who do two think you are? Showing up at MY house to interrogate me?
4.) I am not here to answer your intrusive questions. Again, who in the hell do you two think you are? Leave, while I call the police to report your harassment.
5.) Call here again, and I'll have you charged with stalking. Announce my name as DA'd or DF'd, and I'll be suing YOU, personally, NOT the WT Org.

Nearly Killing My Mother Wasn't Enough !

i have somehow managed to bring her to reason and accept the transfusion.

Know what you should have done with your mom? Deny everything. Demand "two witnesses" to the supposed "transfusions." After all, that's the requirements. Tell them they are slandering your mother AND you.
Basically, Theocratic Warfare, except in reverse. If they ask how your mother was able to recover so quickly, tell them, "Jehovah provides! It's a miracle!!!!!" Watch their jaws drop open. Put them on the spot, and don't let up. Deny EVERYTHING. It is up to THEM to bring forth the burden of evidence. They have ZERO, merely their own "speculations" as to what "might" have transpired. Hopefully you and your mother haven't already admitted to the transfusions at their "meeting", which I would have canceled before it ever happened. Who the hell do they think they are to demand such anyway? Freakin' basturds!

he just kept whispering about the girls there that he fancied.. i was in my early 20's.

My fiance (now wife) first meeting with me was the Memorial. She was shocked that no one partook of the emblems, merely passed them around. Only 144K are "allowed" to partake? Ridiculous! Why bother to even show up? For what? REJECTING the emblems of Christ? I was pretty awake by that point, but her comments really shock me. Especially when she said we were rejecting Christ. I had never in my life thought about it like that, but it was true! We weren't accepting him into our lives, we were rejecting the emblems and passing them on without a second thought. Whack! She spoke to an Elder (The PO actually) and she had questions. He really couldn't answer them....he was too "busy". I'm sure.....too busy to answer the legitimate questions of a lowly worldly "woman". He's dead.....a beam fell on his head at a construction site....a quick build or assembly hall project I heard.....so much for Jah's Divine Protection, huh? -

A Judicial experience.
by John Aquila inwhen i was an elder in the 80s, a 16 year old baptized jw girl had confessed that at school during lunch a boy kissed her and touched her privates over her dress.
the circuit overseer was in town and we told him of the situation and he called the society and then told us that mother said we were not allowed to conduct the funeral in the kingdom hall or anywhere else with the threat of removing us and being dealt with judicially if we disobeyed.
the mother who is about 79 years old comes once a year to talk to my mom about the situation.

OMG, that story is really F*cked!!!!! I really, really wonder what the 16-yr old girl had to say to you about what had happened to her for 3 whole hours?? I bet that one really eats at you huh? That you didn't get to hear her side of the story?
Also, she was DF'd for merely being felt up by a worldly boy at school lunch? You mean to tell me her confession to such teenage mischief wasn't enough to show repentance? What the hell is WRONG with these people? Think about it......if she weren't so brainwashed from the cradle on up to feel guilty about EVERYTHING, she wouldn't have even mentioned this to adults, wouldn't have been DF'd, wouldn't have had a car accident, would still be alive and well, probably with kids of her own experimenting with normal teenage things. Totally whack!!!
And to add insult to injury, this whacked out CULT wouldn't allow this poor girl's family to have the funeral at the Kingdom Hall? I can't believe the family didn't leave then (not just the brother) , and instead - shunned the brother? WTF is wrong with these people? Cruel, sick, CULT!

VA shooting suspect was raised a JW! He mentions it on his Twitter account

bryce williams (not real name, but on-air name) shot and killed 2 people on live television this morning in roanoke, va. he was wearing a go-pro camera, and uploaded his first-person video onto his social media accounts.
i've seen his twitter feed (before it was taken down), and not very far down he mentions being raised a jw.

I would have LOVED to have been in the military, especially the Navy or Air Force. At 6'-1" and 200 lbs, and @ 9% body fat, I'm in better shape than the 18 year old boys half my age entering. I actually still get recruiters at the Gold's I work out in asking if they could sign me up. However, I am unable to serve, and that's not because of my pacifist, f*cked up JW upbringing. No. My father was a Veteran of Vietnam. No. It's because I'm totally deaf in my left ear, have been since birth. Automatic disqualification. Doesn't matter how good a shape I'm in. This same congenital "defect" also disqualifies me from ever obtaining my pilot's license.
I really resent the biased, slanted, automatic assumption that everyone on here that enjoys firearms is some Wal-Mart shopping, fat, beer gutted, bubba, wanna-be machoist Rambo. Or, some wanna-be Chuck Yeager in Ray-bans, leather jacket, and Breitling. I'll have you know that I DO wear Ray-Bans (mirrored blue polarized), that match my navy blue Alpha CWU-45P flight jacket, and OMEGA SpeedMaster watch. (Breitling is for posuers - I'll agree to that!!!!) I wear the Alpha CWU-45P, because it's large front pockets allows me to legally conceal-carry any of my pistols, none of which are MIL-SPEC, cause they are all set up for target/bullseye shooting and/or are just small carry pistols to begin with. (Ruger LCP, LCR, Glock 43)
Don't know where half you guys live, but I gotta think you're judging alot of Americans based on Rambo films, John Travolta's Breitling ads, and the 24/7 glorification of violence that our news media keeps pumping out. It's really sad that you all feel that way about us. That's like me making the broad statement that all Brits have horrible teeth and are stuck up asshats, because I've seen photos of Freddie Mercury and caught episodes of "Are you being served?"
