Good news/bad news but really good news all because of a wonderful board member
by Still Totally ADD inthis last week i was e-mailed that my aunt had died.
she was 95 years old and had a long a good life with a loving family around her.
the reason this is more good news than bad is because due to the help of a member on this board i was able to reconnect with her.

I feel ya. Because of how my "worldly" relatives got fed up with my newlywed parents new Cult religion being shoved down their throat, it caused a rift between my parents and mom's family that didn't heal until I was 10. Therefore, I didn't know that I had aunts, uncles, and cousins until I was 10 years old!!!!! Never met them, never knew about them. My parents simply moved away and never spoke about them - EVER. It took my mom's father becoming terminally ill with cancer to start to bring them together again. I now frequently see my cousins. My parents are dead. So is my uncle. We are all still here. It's insane what this religion has done to families. -

What's the craziest thing someone INFORMED on you about?
by Londo111 inthe culture of jws as encouraged by the watchtower is one of informing on one another, reporting to either the elders or ones designated head.
whats the wackiest thing that someone reported on you?
im not talking about a black-and-white watchtower rule that would land you in a judicial committee, but some judgmental nonsense that someone thought they should turn you in about?.

^^^^^ Exactly, that is really F*cked! I would have told that Elder, "What do you mean, ADULT SUPERVISION? We ARE adults!!! And furthermore, I don't have to ask her permission, or yours, to have lunch with my friends."
End of discussion. This is absolutely intolerable behavior. The freakin' balls these people have!! What century do these Puritans live in again? Talk about living in a bubble! I applaud you for never speaking to that old hag ever again. She gets what she deserves; a lifetime of isolation and loneliness. F'em!

The bridge burning has begun.
by sparrowdown ini was feeling particularly hopeless about the whole jws being assholes thing and sick to death of pretending so ....
i rang my sister and told her that i no longer believe jws have the truth and the phone went silent, when i asked her to say something she just said if that was the case then she would have to hang up on me and then proceeded to indeed hang up..
so i texted her back immediately with fu..

Good for you for being honest with your Sister, now she knows. Know what I'd do when the Elders come knocking? I really screw over your sister - by DENYING the whole thing! Tell the Elders you have no clue what she's talking about, you never said those things, you watch all the GB Broadcasts every month! Ask them for her 2 witnesses to your "alleged" crime of apostasy? Tell them you feel hurt and "stumbled" by her vicious claims and actions. In other words, totally make your hateful sister look like a total ASS and a liar. It will make it look like SHE has stumbled you right out of the Truth since you now miss meetings. Mess with them by beating them at their own games. Hahahaha! F'em! -

And this ($$$$$) is why the WT Society is now getting into creating "Assisted Living" facilities for the upper echelon. There is a company owned by JW VIP's here on the east coast of the USA that is building these huge multi-floor, multi-building JW assisted living facilities. They even have scriptural requirements for allowing people in, and of course if you're not packing the required $$$$$, you're not getting IN! Don't worry, Walkhill will be basically the same, except for the young slaves and the Congegations get to build it, AND pay for it ! -

Haha! & Dissodant15!! Poor Paul! I hadn't seen Paul since about 1999 at my father's funeral. I had no idea he had lost his mind so badly. Why would they allow him to continue on in FS like that, embarrassing himself like that? I spent many a long night at the Book Study's with him and Dorothy (his wife) at my family's home. I'm talking, till like 10-11:00 at night. They and my parents were hardcore into the End Times 1914/Generation nonsense in the 1980's. It's like fed off of each other. Scary.
Weirdest Paul Oxenreider story? He shows up one summer to visit with us. This was probably 1992-1993. We were at Red Lion Congregation at that time, he at one of the Mt. Joy Congregations. Anyway, he starts telling us about this Society-Approved Brother who's come thru the local congregations with his new-age type healing/cure thing. We were like, who? What? So Paul starts tells telling us how this guy can "test your body" and tell if you have multiple personality disorder and demons, or other ailments. He even gave us an example of how this guy "tests the body", by asking it, touching certain parts, etc. Of course, the guy charged some exorbitant fee to "test your body" and sell you his crap!!! He'd then move on to the next Congregation full of victims! I believe this was Kiniesology or some such new-age crap. My father and I agreed it was the biggest load of crap we had ever heard!!!
Oh, and at the District Assembly in 1994 at The Vet in Philadelphia, my mother and I ran into Paul. He asked how things were going. My mother stated that her younger brother has passed not even 6 months before. Know what Paul asked without missing a beat? "Oh, was he a Jehovah's Witness?" No sympathy, no empathy, no words of consolation for my grieving mother.....just ask about his "status" in the Org, which he didn't belong to. My mother was STUNNED and aghast. Some Christian Love, huh? Maybe Paul was losing it then, cause that was cold as HELL.

Reading all of the above experiences.......my mind is just blown......I know it shouldn't be, but it is.
What I can't get over is sheer amount of petty bullsh*t that everyone gets tattled on for. Not only that, but that the Elders feel that they have to actually dress people down for such crap. It's like, "Hey? Don't you Elders have anything more important to do, like look after widows, orphans, reporting pedophiles, and helping council drug users? No? Go f*ck yourselves douchebags."
Seriously......is this how Jesus saw Elders "Shepherding the flock"? I doubt it.
I'll add my experience here. I was once called out to the hallway during a Circuit Assembly by an Annointed Elder whom I known my whole life. I was 13. The reason? During the previous week's book study at his house, afterwards someone had heard me say, "Strip Poker." He was asking me what it was about. I was so nervous, I broke down crying right in the hallway. Why? Well, after the bookstudy I was standing around with his kids and some of their friends. The eldest daughter started to talk about playing strip poker. I was aghast, and asked kind of loudly, "Strip Poker??????" Heads turned, I was embarrassed, and of course I was the one tattled on to Elder father. So Brother Annointed Elder pulls me to interrogate me for something his OWN DAUGHTER had been doing, and that I was aghast about. I never trusted any of them again, nor really spoke to them.
And the Elder's family? Wife left him the next year. Oldest son become a multi-convicted child molester, now serving 25-life in prison. All 3 daughters left. Only youngest son remained in and brainwashed, and he may even be out by now. Brother Annointed married some Pioneer Sister Beeouth at his new Kingdum Hell. How's that for irony? His kids acted like total scumbags and were total heathens in school, meanwhile I was the good kid, straight A's, never had problems. And I'M the one being pulled out into the hallway during a Circuit Assembly to be interrogated. No wonder I couldn't wait to get away from these users.

Story from my late father (1999), and his long-time friend and occasional service partner, Paul Oxenreider (2010). Since all parties are deceased, I feel no obligation to hide their identities.
Time: Early 1980's.
Location: Local Hospital, to visit a sick sister (or possible study)
What Happened: Brother Oxenreider & my father went to visit this sick, older sister at the local hospital to offer some spiritual support and encouragement, or maybe just to be nice. (that's how they were) Older sister must have been frisky, cause she proceeded to lift up her hospital gown and offer up Brother Oxenreider what nature had given her. Brother Oxenreider's wide-eyed and stunned response, as related by my father to me? "Ohhhhh myyyy..........Ohhh myyyyyy!!!" Apparently that's all he could get out. Guess the Shepherd wasn't prepared to shear the sheep? LOL!

Thanks! I really like how you placed some photos of references on this chart, such as the INFAMOUS May 1984 "Generation" cover - fantastic!!!!
Also......just look at it as a whole for a second. Now think about it.......is this easy to understand? Would Jesus have really been behind such convoluted, twisted doctrine? Is this what they mean by understanding the "deeper things"? What a load of horse sh*t!!!! Nothing about this is a easy to understand, follow, or logical. It's a complete mess!!!!! And yet somehow, these charlatans have the BALLS to claim that this doctrine is inspired, and from YHWH and Jesus themselves?????? My ass!!!!! Totally blasphemous, and goes way, WAY beyond "what is written" in the Gospel. Also, I think it's absolutely disgusting to think that now, or in the past, people were actually disfellowshipped, kicked out on their bums, turned away from their families, etc if they didn't tow the line and buy into this mathematical buffoonery!!!!!! That's some real Christian Love the JW's got going on there.
"Get out of her my people," - Indeed.
