  Special Pioneer Sister-in-Law and Husband just got their letter.

  well, my sister-in-law and her husband, special pioneers for only a couple of years, just got their letter.. her comment was along the lines of, "they're having to do this because they forgave all those kingdom hall loans a few years ago and the brothers aren't donating anymore.".

  when my wife told me, i laughed so hard i farted.

  Ha!!! So a bunch of free-loading MOOCHERS, are now PISSED because they've been kicked out of the big house, where they were used to living "high off the hog", and now have to come out into the workforce with the rest of us pee-ons and scrape out a living? Well, boo-freakin' hoo!!! Oh, how the Mighty have fallen!!! At least these people have a house and cars apparently, which 200% more than what 99% of the Bethelites and Special Pioneers have. (most have zilch!) Can you imagine the "sighing and moaning" that these freeloaders are going to be doing back at the home congregations? I pity the Flock that is stuck with these holier-than-thou types. Imagine, they'll come back and look down with disdain at the very Flock they've been living off of for 6+ years. The freakin' balls. So glad I no longer have to deal with these tools.

  The most interesting part of this post; how the lay-off is spun to make it out that it's the Rank-n-File's FAULT that the Bethelittes and Special Pioneers are being sent packing, instead of management (Governing Body).

  Incredible, incredible GAL I would say. YHWH provided manna from Heaven to help the Israelites wandering for 40 years in the hot desert, but somehow the current mouthpiece (GB), can't even provide the minimal stipend and insurance for the Special Pioneers (even after the huge money grab & fleecing this year), so ohhhh well, it must be because the rank-n-file are greedy and ungrateful, and aren't donating enough $$$$ ?? Is that about right? Well let me tell you Bethelites and Special Pioneers; F*ck ALL of you, if that's how you feel!!! You all are about to find out what it's like out here in the REAL world when you've been denied an education to get a well-paying job by the very leaders you idolized, and now have to work to make ends meet. Good luck scrounging around trying to find something "extra" to even shove into the contribution box at the KH, you ungrateful fools!

  I can't believe it......I'm stunned, how much do you want to bet, that the unofficial "word" that's been put out by the Governing Body at WT HQ, is that it's the ungrateful R & F's fault that hese layoffs are occurring, and of no fault of the Governing Body due to their own incompetence. These greedy charlatans at the top just can't stoop any lower!!!!

  At 33:53, the woman uses the term "double life" when referring to her time spent with friends at work, etc.

  I have NEVER in my life heard that term used by an active JW. In fact, I've only ever heard that term used on these EX-JW forums. I find it amazing, that such terminology would not only find it's way back to JW's, but actually IN a JW broadcast. Talk about having an effect! I wonder, who's going to slip up on the stage or in a video, and use the term "Borg" for the first time? When it happens, you'll just KNOW that person is an Apostate or was an ex-JW that got sucked back in.

  Assembly baptisms/attendance - keep 'em coming!

  don't forget to post your reported assembly and convention attendance and baptisms and whether they are higher or lower than customary (if you know).. here's some detail passed to me of the last circuit assembly held at surrey (uk) assembly hall.. attendance 922 baptisms 3 (half circuit).

  I believe my last Circuit Assembly was at the Grantville Assembly Hall, 1999 A.D. I was fed up with it then, and haven't wanted to go since. It's a total bore, and waste of a perfectly good weekend, spent inside a windowless, soul-draining meeting room. No thanks!

  at the latest co visit something very strange happened.

  during the meeting with the elders and servants he passed out a copy of a hypothetical publisher card and asked us what we could learn from it.

  upon receiving it i saw that the average hours were pretty good, it had return visits and quite a few bible studies.

  I gotta say, I was skeptical of John's experience at first too. Then I read his last post above, about where he is located. This is Mexico people, not Vermont. The Mexican culture absolutely loves and insists on these types of gatherings, and I don't find it strange or out of line at all for this amount of people in the Mexican culture do have a gathering like this. That is Mexican culture. If this were taking place in the New England states, or Georgia, I'd be more reserved. However, if you recall, there was a yearly meet-up somewhere here in Pennsylvania, around Blue Mountain Retreat or something, that was for ex-JW, ex-JW groups, apostates, etc. The place burnt down, and I haven't heard anything about it in 3 or 4 years. They held it like every October. I'm fairly certain at least 100-200 ex-JWs would show up for that. It ran for probably 20 years? So this is not unheard of even here so close to WT HQ.
