An Elder tried to steel and inheritance: Stays an elder!
by StephaneLaliberte inthis is the story of a woman, who’s mother became a jehovah’s witness in 1985. unfortunately, religion became a very hot topic in the family and the mother lost contact with most of her family.
the situation was so bad that the family believed that it was the jehovah’s witnesses that completely prohibited her from contacting her family.. years went by and all remained the same until 2008; the jw mother became sick, very sick.
as she felt that she could even die, she renewed ties with her only daughter.

I was in Peru this time last year. I saw ZERO JW's in Lima, Cuzco, etc. Furthermore, our guide told us that people are very accustom to the Catholic Church, as they provide many services and charity, while the JW's, SDA's, and Mormon's do ZILCH, and only seem to want $$$$. Not everyone down in Latin America is a fool. However, our guide's mother must be a fool, because she joined the JW's. I'm betting he's pissed!!!

I've been found out!
by pale.emperor inwell, thats it folks.. my identity on here has been rumbled and reported to the elders.
someone, somehow, has figured out that im a member of this site and - rather than speak to me - has promptly reported me to the elders.
i just feel sad for my daughter.

I would have told my wife she's welcome to do what she likes, but your daughter stays at HOME, with YOU. That shit would NOT have flown with me. Fug that! So now your daughter gets to hear you slandered and maligned and vilified from your d-bag Elder father-in-law? Uhh....no! I'm guessing your wife isn't the supportive, "stand by your man", type? Well, if she isn't up for supporting you as your spouse, she might as well hand in the keys to the house with the cheque book, and move back in with "daddy". No way would I tolerate that crap....no freakin' way. She wants to choose a CULT out over your marriage? No problem; let the cult take care of her.

Assembly Hall Re-Furb Australia
by jonahstourguide inso, after congs handing over all the cash, a request i believe, has been made in melbourne australia recently for a contribution box to be placed at the kingdom halls in melbourne for contributions to pay for the estimated 1.6 million dollar refurbishment of the melbourne assembly hall in melton.
i'm told by a angry attendee that the letter came from the branch in australia.
anyone else in oz hear of this ????.

This is easy. Just say NO. Vote with your wallet. They can't do sh*t, except complain, guilt, and beg for more.

Wow.....I too am shocked. I was given the "boot" a few years ago, but I honestly still read stories and experiences on there every day. I think it's horrible that the site couldn't have at least been left up and "locked", so others could still read archive. It's like the place never existed, which is really sad. Also, I don't understand why it couldn't have been passed on to a new ownership and moderators. So the mods move on in their lives, and just decide to shutter the place like it never existed and everyone else be damned? That is cold, IMHO.

Missionary in Asia works part time as teacher told by Bethel hand over pay check!!
by Witness 007 inthey only way this minsterial school grad missionary could get a visa was as an "english teacher" so he got a job part time and pioneered the rest of the time.
he was very upset when bethel told him his wage for english teaching belongs to them!!!
he had expenses living in this asian land and had no family support, but bethel thought his small watchtower "reinburstment" was enough.
