Maybe she herself is Gay, and hiding it from everyone as well? Maybe that's her rush to get out of the house? Just thinking out loud.

Coming Out To My JW Sister
by Ame SF innow, i have been mentally "awake" for quite a while, but i'll just say march/april this year.
i won't go into detail about what it was that made me "realize" everything, so don't bother asking.. so, i've known for years that i wasn't like most girls in my classes, kingdom hall, and just in general.
from a very young age i had that obvious interest in the same sex, but seeing as i was seemingly the only one feeling that way i would brush it off and eventually i started getting interested in guys.

Lots of weirdos among the jw's
by wannaexit ini found this little jem this morning .
it's a little dated but describes the self-proclaimed jesus of nazareth by the name of a.j miller.
he was raised in the jw religion and was also an elder and pioneer.

#9 is more than sick, it's borderline CRIMINAL. That is completely inappropriate, and you just know she wants her nipples aroused by the suckling. That is disgusting! What rock do these pervs crawl out from under??

See the new Dutch assembly hall
by Anders Andersen in...it looks like a generic, easy to sell barn hall.. https://youtu.be/eqwrfhbbqwy.
nothing like the old hall it's built next to.. the small room in the video is the indoctrination education center.. the building is completed one year ahead of schedule.
my guess: it's either much simpler than they originally planned, and/or they had more volunteers because nothing else is being built.. video is dutch, but nothing interesting is said anyway..

The acoustics in such a building must be atrocious. These people truly do lack brains. I know, I suffered thru DC's at the old Veteran's Stadium in Philadelphia in the 1980's. If you sat near the top, you heard nothing but "echo" while you slowly roasted and burnt to a crisp in the hot summer sun.

Family contact in terminal illness cases.
by Disassociated Lady 2 ini had not seen my parents for over 15 years since the funeral of my brother and even then no one spoke to me as i was da.
my dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2014 and i was then permitted contact with them.
i now know the reason that this is allowed.

Similar story here. My father become ill with terminal cancer. My mother was an RN and worked full-time. She asked for some help. She was told that "Jehovah provides", and that she should try being more regular in the field ministry, pray more, and attend all the meetings. All this, while tending to my terminally ill father at home. Chemo, radiation, Dr's appts, etc. No offers of help, ZERO. Meanwhile, at a meeting my mother happened to make during this time period, an announcement was made from the platform, that meals would be appreciated for the wife of the PO, who had to have triple by-pass surgery. A woman who never worked a day in her life, and had all the time in the world to make her own meals throughout the day while her husband was in the hospital. Yep! That's the JW's "Christian Love" for you. Freakin' hypocrites! No mention of helping our family, EVER. This entire experience (of JW love, during my father's illness) completely woke my JW mother of 20 years up. She stopped meeting attendance after his funeral, started asking me about what I was learning on the internet, and actually ordered Ray Franz's books to read for herself, before giving them to me!
JW's: Shooting themselves in the foot for over 130 years!

Does it not dawn on the cart witnesses?
by jambon1 ini sat in town recently, right in the window of a nice wee pub.
within minutes i realised that i had a perfect view of a jw cart and the two ridiculously dressed jw's (they have absolutely no individuality at all.
what's more, they all look like they're going to a funeral).

My take?
1.) They get in their hours.
2.) If the occasional lonely old senile senior citizen or mentally incompetent person DOES happen to show some interest, while then "Jehovah must have drawn them near."
That is what they think anyway, that Jehovah draws those near whom He chooses, so it doesn't matter how little the R&F do, or how many people pass by, it's all on Jehovah. Which begs the question: With Jehovah being able to read hearts and judge, and with Him drawing those near whom He chooses, why even bother with the field ministry in the first place? Seems like a huge waste of time. Oh wait, I forgot.......It's a cult!

One of those defining moments
by Chook in2 years ago i'm at po house for bbq, his wife tells me about her hectic drive to work for one hour.
i suggest car pooling from other women who work in same area, she goes on to explain that having to spend 1 hour each way with worldy women would affect her spirituality.
there it is in its finest definition of christian loyalty .

A sucker is born every minute
by Sour Grapes ini was an elder in the 1970's and i was not a big fan of the "stay alive until 75" dogma.
i was looked down upon by the heavy hitters on the body of elders and in time i changed my mind.
i knew of the failed prophecy of 1914 being the end of all times which was repeated for the year 1925...yet i came to believe well maybe this time they've got it right.. with every new watchtower, i combed over every word to find support for my change in my belief that the end was coming in fall of 1975. at the district assembly in 1975, everyone clung onto every word in the final talk.

Wait, Fred Franz actually stated that Adam might have been "eventually tempted into beasteality"? For real? That loon was really a sexual deviant, wasn't he?
I would have asked ol' Freddy, how Adam could have been tempted into such a sinful act, when he was in fact PERFECT and without sin? Fred really was a complete LOON! Why anyone would take his rantings seriously is beyond me. Types and anti-types........what contrived bullsheet! Ugh.

Don't tell your family ANYTHING about your GF, new life, etc. Only smile and look happy if you happen to see them. If they happen to break the silence and ask how you are, tell them you feel like a million dollars and are happier every day. They hate that. They WANT you to feel like this.....like a discarded piece of human trash. That way, you'll come crawling back and begging to be let back in. F' that! You are what, 31? I'd for d*mn sure be heading back to college and med school if I were you. Plenty of time to become a Dr. That will also get you out of this funk and get you around more intelligent, like-minded people and you'll become more social. Think about it! You have a new lease on life, might as well get on it!!!

My grandmother was born in 1918, after the first great World War, and right after her one brother died young from the Spanish influenza epidemic. Being in Pennsylvania, she was exposed to WT literature all growing up, as her family would sometimes accept magazines at the doors, etc. Finally, she became a JW in 1983 along with my father and mother. I was born in 1979. All I heard growing up from the podium to the assemblies, was how the New Order / New System was just around the corner, how none of us would die, and how I'd never grow old or have to worry about the standard "Worldly" problems. My grandmother died in 2003, at age 85. Both of my parents died as well. None of them were supposed to get old and die according to Rutherford. I shouldn't have even been born anywhere except the New System. Here I am. My family are all DEAD. Doesn't that make the WT a false prophet? I'd say so. I broke the pattern. My son is 12. He's never seen or heard of a Kingdom Hall. JW's? A nutty cult I was raised in, to be avoided unless he wants to end up a mess like me.
