  so, now that some time has passed, i’d like some input/thoughts/analysis/etc.

  on the jw construction situation in the last few years.. first, why did they discontinue the rbc arrangement and institute the ldc arrangement?

  was it for more and/or better control?

  we are taught to invest all of our belief in the very idea of something being true and absolute and constant.but--is that illusory?.

  How come right after WWII, the Allies enacted "Directive 30", which instituted broad sweeping deletion of anything having to do with the historical, cultural, and institutional regime of the Nazi's. That was ok, but somehow we won't do the same with our own racist, oppressive, losing Confederate past? Seems pretty damned hypocritical to me, to hold another nation like Germany to a higher standard, when we ourselves glorify such people as Confederate Generals.

  so im not in school yet but i was rethinking over somethings that happened from that school year.i know that one person that is a jw in my school.now we had gym together but he is a grade up from me when i would do something that didnt seem right and something we shouldnt do he gave me a mean look or he would just stop hanging out and walk a way so i stoped talking to him for my own good.

  i just kinda feel bad for not talking to him but if i do something that seems bad in the jw eye i feel like he might tell the elders.. and i dont need that right now.....

  Thoughts & Observations:

  1. This is totally aimed at Latin America. Hence, mustaches are acceptable, as is the custom south of de Border.

  2. Right from the start, it hits up the "Faithful and Discreet Slave" glorification and praise. Seriously? GB 2.0 has got some GINORMOUS balls!

  3. Praising a Convention in a music video, and actually using the stereotypical "this was the best one yet!" line? I swear to God, it's almost like someone is trolling us Ex-JW's. Seriously??? Hysterical.
  

  4. What is with the old WatchTower's being studied and prominently displayed, even put into framed glass, to be admired later on? I'm amazed that something so old, filled with "Old Light" would be so prominently displayed. For those not in the know, that is from at least the late 1800's, early 1900's. I know, cause I've actually got some! They were my great-grandparents! I've never seen anything like this. I truly think this is to prop up the "Overlapping Generations" bullshit. Guess what everyone? This neatly wrapped hot mess of "New Light", isn't going anywhere soon!! They are doubling down on this bullshit, and this video is proof!!!

  5. All in all, another emotionally charged, cringe-worthy piece of Noe-televangelist crap. How low can GB 2.0 go? There doesn't seem to be an end to the bottom of this barrel.

  JW Kids Bullying My Daughter

  trying not to type swearwords as i write this so bare with me.. my little 3yo attends meetings with her jw mum (who doesn't believe watchtower anymore but is stuck in because she relies on her family for help).

  my mum (the one who tells people im dead) had a party for her grandchildren.

  that's my 4 nieces and 1 nephew aged from 3yo-11yo.

  Holy shit! Your mother and in-laws are whacked in the fuggin' head!!!! Seeing as how these ass-clowns are still your blood relatives, I'd take my ass right on over there, and call them right out on their "inappropriate, disgusting behaviour!!!" They'd be given a dressing down from me like they've never had in their lives!! Who da fuq do these people think they are? I'd seriously bitch-slap someone.

  And they wonder why people are leaving?

  The silver lining to all of this? #1: Your ex-wife is really getting a good dose of their "wholesome Christian love", and I'm sure the cognitive dissonance is building up in her. Wow! #2: Your daughter won't forget this episode, EVER! It will stick in her brain for life. I know, similar shit happened to me as a kid, even though my parents were in good standing! They were nearly poor, no position in Org, etc, so I never got invited and was excluded from everything.

  How many more will leave after they see the highly insulting and stereotypical "Lot's Wife" soap opera Drama? It will be even more of an exodus. Asian's as a whole strongly encourage higher education, and furthermore it's necessary to get even the most basic of jobs over there. Many children in Hong Kong have after school activities and tutors, that take them to 6-7:00pm! They "ain't got time for dat", "education is from Satan, and a good job is evil, live like a pauper and give us your money" American religion bullshit! It simply does not mix with the Asian culture. I foresee even more mass exodus as they all get fed up with the JW guilt-trip. Their tolerance for this bullshit is so much lower than the gullible, spoon-fed American religious fundies of North America.
