1.) That marching drum beat sounds "militaristic" in nature, like something right out of the old Soviet Bloc! WTF??????
2.) The older lady in the silver dress (centered), is like a Barbara Anderson doobleganger!! Wow!! She also had a few snide looking smirks on her face, probably from watching that dufos conductor Splain make an ass out of himself with his "conducting."
3.) The weird looks on the faces of these people before they started singing just screams, "I'm a brainwashed cult member, and I just luuuuuuv this shit!" ALA: People's Temple style. Glazed over, non-thinking, drones. SMH.

CL&M part Jan 4 - annual meeting service report - our outstanding experiences

speaker had two pioneers on the stage to relate their outstanding experiences for 2017. we have 23 pioneers and over 160 publishers in the hall.
our territory is densely populated with single family houses, apartments and condominiums.

That bit in the "do's and don'ts" at the Convention really raises a Red Flag. Which one? Well, all of them are controlling, but the one that raises my eye the most is the one about food. Cooking food in your room, or eating to much at the Continental Breakfast buffet. How so you may ask? Why, this is an old Cult trait. Don't let your recruits or members eat too much food, in particular: Protein. The food that is served is usually Carb-rich to load down and make the members half sleepy, so that they are more easily indoctrinated (AKA: Brainwashed). Protein-rich diets that are lower in carbs, tend to not make people drowsy and also encourage more brain activity. Can't have that!!!!! (thinking)

I remember this guy. I don't need his testimony to verify what I've already known: JW's are a cult and are the cause of much mental illness.
My late JW-to-faded mother was an RN for 30+ years. 10 of those years were spent in the hospital's psychiatric ward. Guess what my mother discovered? An unusual ratio of JW's coming thru the doors with a slew of conditions: drug abuse, cutting, mental break-downs, suicide attempts, bi-polar disorder, NPD, PTSD, and on and on. JW's, and Mormons as well. Much more than the usual population. Sometimes, Elduh's would actually try and use their Clergy status to get into the (secured) ward to try an question (AKA: interrogate) the JW patients about their "sins." Family would come in (cause they could) and also attempt this, as well as lay guilt trips on the suffering individuals about how they were making Jah's Organization "look bad" or "bringing reproach" on it by being there in the first place, instead of praying more and attending the meetings, and seeking out "worldly" (AKA: Satanic) medical help!!!!!
Truly, the JW's are highly controlling, warped, twisted Cult if there ever was one. My mother's experiences in that ward was a gigantic Red Flag that helped her to eventually wake up to the fact that she had been duped by a Cult.

To the original poster: What kind of VW do you have? I luv German cars. Had an '87 BMW 325i as my first car. Then a '98 VW Jetta. Then a '07 Audi S4. Now I just got a new VW Passat. Really luv them. Even though I went "down" to a Passat, the amount of room and luxury makes me feel like I stepped "up!"

E cart witnessing on our way to see Shen Yun in San Francisco
by cha ching intoday, i took the day off to go with my husband to san francisco on bart to see shen yun.
coming out of the station, were two elders at a watchtower cart!
my husband loves to witness to them.. started off with a smile and they smiled back and he told them he had been associated with jehovah's witnesses and now he is not but he wishes to tell them that even though they are going to hear things that are upsetting in the news, there is life after jehovah's witnesses.. they smiled and asked him if they could ask what religion he has gone to, or what he is doing now.

You are shooting yourselves in the foot by telling them your husband is DF'd or said anything against the Org. Don't do that!!! Once you do, they completely shut down and refuse to really listen to a thing you say, cuz: APOSTATE ALERT!!
Use your brain and "Theocratic Warfare", and omit that you even had anything to do with the Witnesses. Just claim you've seen and read about these things on the news and ARC.

Local elder dies of starvation
by Steel inwell , not really.. our hall recently had a secret collection for our head elder who is almost on the verge of becoming homeless.
i guess he lost some cleaning contracts because his clients were just sick of his no shows because of his pioneer work.
there is always something more important to do than earn a living.. this is the same assholes he is always shaming people to not doing enough.

Reminds me of my families own set of hard times. The year: 1999. Family of JW's for 20+ years, good standing. My father develops an aggressive form of cancer. My mother works full time as an RN, AND goes to all meetings and some field service. Father needed surgery right away, treatment, etc. My mom stayed home more to care for my father. After a while, when she did show up to meetings she asked an Elduh for some sort of help, anything. Elduh's response? "We are not a charity. You need to pray more, attend all the meetings, and be more active in the field ministry." My mom came home from that meeting in state of utter shock and despair. She was doing EVERYTHING and then some, and was exhausted. What did she get from the JW's? A guilt trip about not doing enough. A few months later, the portly rotund PO Elduh had to have heart by-pass surgery. My mother happened to be at the Sunday meeting where an actual announcement was made from the stage about the PO's condition and that they were asking for meals to be made or gift cards to restaurants could be given so that the PO's wife didn't have to cook. She was a stay-at-home wife who didn't even work!!!!! My mom was again floored. This was the red-flag wake-up call that the JW's were hypocritical, useless, self-absorbed CULT. She never recovered from her treatment and being treated like a 2nd class citizen, all the while others in the hierarchy got treated like royalty. It led her to ask me about what I was reading online, and she actually ordered Ray Franz's books online first, and then gave them to me!!!!!
JW's: Shooting themselves in the foot for over 130+ years! Too stupid to know what charity and hypocrisy are, yet actively go out and attempt to recruit suckers while their members are dying along the roadside.
I had a taste of more "JW Christian Love", while my mother was on her death bed. The final straw for me.
