  The bridge

  so my father, who is an active jehovah’s witness, told me yesterday of an experience currently doing its rounds amongst the witnesses in relation to cart witnessing.

  there is a bridge called ‘the bridge’ which is a well known place for people committing suicide.

  apparently the jws have been setting up there literature carts there for a while now and ever since they have there has been no more suicide attempts from the bridge.

  i was able to meet imagine dragons, it just kinda happened!

  during my normal day to day activities, and they were very pleasant!

  they were kind and approachable.

  Congregation Reassignments in Ohio?

  from what i understand, a letter was read this past week in regards to congregation reassignments and that the elders want to meet with people at their homes to tell them where they have been reassigned.

  obviously, this would be due to the merging and dissolution of congregations.

  can anyone confirm this?.

  Gotta ask though: Isn't Ohio's economy in the shitter? Haven't people been leaving Ohio for like a decade now? Reason I say this, is because here in south-central Pennsylvania, we've seen a LOT of Ohio Contractors moving in here for work, as they have ZERO in Ohio.

  Here in south-central PA, we're seeing minimal KH closures. If WT was going to close any, it should be the Red Lion and Yorkana Congregations, since those have brought upon the most negative publicity in the news over the last 6 months!!!!

  No new releases? How are the r&f taking this?

  is it true that there's been no new releases at this summer's convention?

  if so it will be the first convention in decades perhaps ever to not produce at least a new tract.. how are the r&f explaining this to eachother?

  surely they must have noticed the absence?

  My take: The videos are "releases". They count as spiritual food, council, and guidance, and released at the CUNTventions. So, they are the releases. Saves printing costs for sure, and further indoctrinates the brainwashed. Seems to me effort is being put on RETENTION of members, shoring up bank accounts, reducing overhead, and selling off non-profitable properties. Recruitment? GB doesn't really give a shit about that. The "literature carts" are proof of that. Busy work next to a cart in front of Wal*Mart? Not what I call active recruitment.

  i was thinking about how the borg screws up and sexually neuters their flock by telling them when single to "deaden their body" and then boom as soon as there's a ring on the finger to not be denying eachother.. do any of you know of jws who have been screwed up by these teachings?

  i know 2, 1 elder came back from honeymoon having a nervous breakdown unable to cope with the cd that sex produced in his head.

  and the other called up her parents while on honeymoon, crying and begging for themto come and get her, since she was so shocked that sex hurt.

  sunday my old bethel roommate came up to visit me.

  he left a couple years ago and he wanted to catch up and reminisce.. while we sat back remembering crazy things we saw take place at bethel he reminded me of a creepy instance with bro.

  I once read an experience from a visiting Artist who volunteered to help critique and guide the Art Dept in Bethel in the early 1980's. Guy was there for like 2 weeks or something. It was and incredible read. The most astonishing part? Reading about how Fred Franz (The Oracle of the WT, and President!) would roam about in a flannel shirt, shuffling between the buildings talking to his old brown shoes! Like he was holding a conversation with them!!! This was the EARLY 1980's mind you!! Also, this was the man responsible for the 1975 fiasco, Generation teaching, and much more! This guy shaped just about everything. But he was shuffling around talking to his old brown shoes. Of course, he had such rank, seniority, etc that no one dared to call out this absolutely crazy-ass behavior. He didn't step off the "Launch Pad" until 1992!!!!
  

  Moses had the burning bush. Fred Franz had a pair of old brown shoes. So much for divine inspiration!

  thanks to the australian royal commission our youngest son has woke up.

  we received a e-mail from him tonight where he apologized to us for shunning us all these years, how bad he felt for doing this.

  Wow........Congrats! The GB really do shoot themselves in the foot, don't they? Would love to hear how your son even viewed the ARC testimony.....who brought it to his attention, or if he saw it mentioned in recent news articles in the USA? Now, if he can just get the rest of his own family out.
