JW's who run businesses (especially Elduhs) are to be avoided like the plague. They are some of the worst crooks around.

Do You Know Of Anyone Who Left JWs And Then Decided To Return?
by minimus inquite a few years ago there was a poster here that left the religion because he knew it was simply not true.
however, he returned to jws because he wanted to be with his family.
i don’t know how he is doing but gumby was his name.

I admit that for a long time, even though I was Physically Out, I was Mentally In. Even up till a few years ago (before 2010) I had thought that maybe if the WT played nice, etc that maybe someday I'd return because, "What if they are really right?" This was AFTER reading COC, ISoCF, Apocalypse Delayed, etc, etc. After a lifetime of being treated like shit and a 2nd Class Citizen even! However, once 2014 came and went, WT Broadcasting premiered, the new song book, the Silver Sword Bible (retarded!), Overlapping Generations from Splain, begging for money from Lett (May 2015 broadcast) the "Cart Song", the convention videos, the ARC, the local (Pennsylvania) abuse cases coming out and making the news, the KH sell-offs, etc.....after witnessing all THAT shit in the past few years, I've come to the concrete conclusion that the WT Org is completely full of SHIT, that they are a lying, manipulative, corrupt, self-serving, money-grubbing CULT that I will NEVER return to. I hope they crash and burn in my life time. F*ck 'em! -

I Got Very Stange JW Doorknocker Yesterday
by pale.emperor ini had an ex-jw uncle of mine visiting me yesterday from another part of the country.
i usually only ever see him at weddings and funerals but we keep in touch on facebook.
we were catching up in my place with his wife when about an hour into the visit there's a knock on my door, this was about 4pm.. strange... the only people who ever knock without calling me first are the postman and my ex-wife.. i open the door and it's a face i recognize from my last congregation.

Man, your experiences with these brainwashed idiots just keep getting weirder and weirder. I think at this point I'd tell them all to toss off.

Of god and guns and SOL
by zeb inending a shopping run i went into the local gun shop to buy some rim-fire cartridges.
my wife had finished her nearby shopping and came in to me.. "can i help you?
" polite assistant who had not met her before.. "im with him" grumped the reply.. but its friday and tomorrow she goes to the kh and will no doubt be fronted about my absence.

Ha! In America SOL means, "Shit out of luck."
If you're in Australia and own a firearm of any type, you are extremely fortunate. I've read up on all the hoops you have to go thru to even have a .22LR rimfire pistol or rifle.
I have 2 custom Ruger 10/22's, a full custom Ruger Mark III Target, and 5,000 rounds of various types of ammo. That's just my .22's!
I luv Australia, but could never live there due to their restrictions. Target shooting is one my passions.

Rick Fearon - Six Screens of the Watchtower
by dubstepped inso a friend today asked me what his deal is and i honestly don't know.
i saw someone post about his accusations that the doj is investigating watchtower and people seemed down on the guy, as well has johnny the bethelite or whatever his name is that claims to leak stuff.
i don't know rick fearon, don't watch his show, but his site just seems a little crazy, and he seems to get into occult conspiracies and the jws, which never lends credibility.. so for those of you who have been around a while, what's the deal?

Hey Minimus:
If you are so close to Rick and have apparently known him for decades, why in the hell don't you clue this clown in as to the damage he's actually doing? I'm serious man!! Sit his ass down and give him the reality cheque he so desperately needs! Be a real friend, and clue him in! He's needs it. Badly. ASAP.

Family is now reaping what they sowed and they don't like it.
by Gemmel ini resigned from the jw's in my 20's over 30 years ago, i was immediately shunned by my entire family and it's remained that way with a few exceptions ever since.
one of those exceptions was being contacted by a cousin a few years back and during that conversation i discovered that my mother had been and still was the prime mover in my complete and continuing shunning.
i then used what contacts i had left to confirm it.

Your experience deserves it's own thread. That is incredible, just incredible! Especially so since your mother was apparently on a first name basis with some of the Governing Body at the time! Gave them millions of dollars over the decades, give them a LOAN, and then to be totally shafted in her old age and hour of need? F*ck these charlatans and this vile, evil CULT!!!!

Rick professed to be one of the 144,000 before his banishment from his Kingdumb Hell. His late wife did as well. He left, she followed, and they started down the rabbit hole. Rick's wife passed away. Rick was mad and distraught. Not distraught enough to not get remarried quickly though? I was probably the first to push my "Rick is a WT plant" theory. This is truly some Scientology level shit right here, but I sure wouldn't put it past the Hateful 8 at WT HQ. Let's face it; Rick is the stereotypical Apostate that the WT has always warned people about. He is actually better at keeping rank-n-file but doubting JW's IN, than he is at bringing them OUT. How so? This thread is proof in and of itself. We have several posters saying he actually fit WT's stereotype of the "Crazy Apostate" to a "T", and hence they stopped looking online for a while and went back into the WT Org. This is EXACTLY what WT would want, and how'd they play a plant like Rick. Hell, they probably pay him and pay for his website and "studio" to even exist!!! For anyone thinking this is beyond WT's means, think again! This is the same cult that has your local Elduh's stalking you to see if you spend the night at someone of the opposite sex, all the while turning a blind eye and even deliberately covering up child sexual abuse!!!! I am convinced they will and would do ANYTHING to save face, scare their Flock (aka slaves with bottomless wallets) into submission and obedience.
Rick is a WT stooge and tool, plain and simple. What does he REALLY contribute to the ex-JW cause? NOTHING!!! Zilch. Zero. The proof is in his results.

Are You Happy With The Direction That Your Government Has Taken?
by minimus inevery country has a leader that pushes their agenda.
are you satisfied with your leader’s goals?
if you are dissatisfied, would you ever think about leaving your country?

Man, do we have to have yet ANOTHER political thread on here?
You know, this back-n-forth bullshit is actually noticed by people, and tends to actually scare members off?
It's actually been brought up several times on the EX-JW forum on Reddit.
Can't we just keep this off this forum or else have a separate sub for this type of stuff?

Hey man, no need for apologies or explanation. You did exactly what I would have done if my mother had disowned me, and then proceeded to enforce the shunning via everyone else as well. F*ck 'em!!!!
Hope you told your wanker brother to promptly "Toss off", and that he should seek proper financial aide from the Almighty Org, since they are his and her "Spiritual Family". I mean, after all, "Jehovah provides!!!!" Maybe the Almighty Org and it's Shepherds could find it in their hearts to open up their greedy coffers and actually send some financial aide BACK to the very members who donated and slaved for free for them all those years? Hmmmmm?
Your brother probably had the reality cheque of his life on that phone call. Maybe it'll wake his dumb ass up? Bravo for standing your ground and not letting these toxic assholes weasel any money out of you via some guilt trip.

Venting, Wow, found out just how indoctrinated my wife is
by goingthruthemotions injust had to share this, tonight we had a heated conversation about the religion.
she said everything they teach is 100% true and any mistakes are cleaned up and corrected, that the payouts for the child abuse is not an issue even if its taken from donations.
because, she believe 100% the org knows what its doing.
