  found out on fb friday .

  not sure if anyone else found out, but i take long breaks from the exjws movement.

  had to do a serious search for her name, because she wasnt as active on jwn anymore...not sure how she passed but her sister said (according to another ex jws) that she had been sick for a while.. i met her once here in milwaukee, had a great time hanging out with her.

  what is the probability that a religious organisation is used for money laundering?

  for example, large amounts of money are raised by the organization as a donation and then legally introduced into the financial system.

  is there any chance that jw.org is used for this kind of purpose?

  They already do that; the WT Corp is known to, and has to publicly disclose, that it has an extensive investment portfolio encompassing many stocks in Wall Street. So yes, they invest in financial institutions.

  Make no mistake about it. Money only flows one-way in JW-Land, from the rank-n-file Sheeple's wallets, to WatchTower's offshore bank accounts. No money ever flows BACK into the Congregations, unless absolutely necessary to repair/remodel a Kingdumb Hell for a quick sale.

  The Congregations were pressured (AKA: scammed by WT HQ and CO's) to send all of their local Congregation savings to WT HQ a few years ago. They were told it was for "Safe keeping", and that if they needed anything, they could easily request their money back to do things. Think that's how it works? LOL!!!! They have to beg and plead to GET THEIR OWN FUNDS BACK, but 99% of the time WT HQ says, "REQUEST DENIED." Too bad, so sad! The WatchTower Org are total fraudulent crooks and charlatans! False prophets, for profits, hiding under the guise of a "charitable religion" here in the USA. Crooks!

  __________in 1923 i almost died.. allow me to explain .... on the day of my parole from seagoville federal correctional institution, i walked out of the entrance of the prison and my grandfather was waiting for me at the gate.. the last time i’d seen him was in 1967. today was 1969.. he looked older and i must have looked much skinnier.. i opened the door and climbed into the front passenger side.. there were no seat belts back then.. jack avery hybarger was a private man, very shy about looking into anyone’s eyes.. he bottled up his emotions.

  we weren’t a family that hugs or says “i love you.”.

  I've been on this board since 2002. I just wanted to say how much I've enjoyed your life stories and experiences.

  You were born the same year as my father, 1947.

  I have to ask; do you still live in California? Have you ever heard or met Leonard & Marjorie Chretian? They were the author's and narrators of the 1980's classic, "Witnesses of Jehovah.". They too have a great life story, a story of escape (from the WT Cult), and of rebuilding. They reside in San Diego.

  Your friend was lying about how large the interior was. No way in hell did it fit a 6'-4" tall man. I'm 6'-2", and I had to squeeze myself into my friends DMC-12 several times. My friend even more so, as he actually IS 6'-4" tall.

  They were incredibly cramped. It's one of the reasons why Micheal J. Fox was chosen to play Marty McFly in Back to the Future. He is very SHORT, and therefore could get in and out very quickly.

  Your friend was just making more excuses to justify his getting rid of the vehicle. Oh, he was probably right to do so, especially as he probably made money off it. But interior room wasn't one of them if he were on the short side. lol

  Old JW's can't donate money, if they're DEAD!!! You gotta keep them alive in order to keep bleeding them dry of their money.

  For every action that WT HQ takes, ask yourself, "How does this affect their bottom line?"

  Any signs that Kingdom Halls will re-open soon or door to door work will re-start again?

  i've not heard anything from pimi wife about going back to the khs yet let alone the door to door work.. many churches round here have re-opened if only for private pray and i am guessing that things like singing may be a factor in the reluctance of the witnesses to get back together again.

  i also detect that many older ones are still quite afraid to go anywhere they may come in contact with people, even for shopping.

  on the other hand, here in uk you can now go to a football match with 70,000 others shouting and chanting.. the door to door work may a total different issue.

  Return to Kingdumb Hellz? lol!!!! That's not happening!!!

  The CSA cases are just ramping up, they need money, and so "The Great Fire Sale" of WatchTower property has begun. No building is too large, or to valuable. In fact, the more valuable the better!!!!!!

  Kingdumb Hellz and Assembly Hellz are going up for sale left and right!! Anyone's cash is good, even Christendoms!

  WT HQ just has to keep the rank-n-file Sheeple distracted enough online until they have the new media center at Ramapo open and fully functioning, and then JW will become a fully ONLINE RELIGION.

  Where to flee Covid mandates and restrictions?

  at the moment there does not seem to be any place to flee to from covid mandates and restrictions.

  we are stuck like the first century christians in jerusalem.

  but jesus said when the disgusting thing would stand in the holy place, it was time to swiftly flee to the mountains.. will jehovah god open a path to security where we can be in safety?

  Australia has gone full-fuggin INSANE. I'm talking Big Brother, 1984 level watching people. Apps on phones, curfews, basically Marshall Law in some places??

  How's that gun ban working out for you now, Aussies? They can't even have an uprising, even if they wanted one, because they are unarmed SHEEPLE.

  I was on vacation once with a family of Aussies down in Peru. (guided tour for a week) The family head was an Air Force weapons specialist. She was absolutely FLOORED that I carried a pocket knife. Like, her eyes nearly bulged out of her head kind of reaction. She asked why I needed to carry such a "weapon" on my person. I kindly educated her that knives are also TOOLS, and that such paranoia isn't healthy in the least.

  They were a great family, but after hearing how they lived (Gold Coast) I summarized that I could never ever live Down Under.

  It is still there, but any "farming" is long since over, especially since the EPA made them clean up all of the toxic waste they deliberately spread a few years back. (stupid asses!)
