  is it possible that jw's would get so worn out by watchtower 's bullshit that they would stand up gather their stuff and walk out of a meeting or a convention.

  The "Bunker", is in reference to a series of Convention videos from a few years ago where the JW's are all holed up in some Elduhz basement while the Great Tribulation rages on outside, and they shown discussing issues, etc. So it's Cedar's play on that scenario. Nothing more.

  And I gotta say Simon, the way WatchTower is behaving lately, for damn sure I see them taking tactics from Scientology's playbook on "Fair Game" against ex-JW's and critics in an attempt to silence and smear them publicly. I know for fact this is beginning to happen to some people out here. I am NOT shocked. I was expecting this, and I expect more of it to start happening the more their bank accounts are effected by the CSA lawsuits.

  I've just revisited this thread to see how it's progressing. Wow! Still going strong I see!!!

  All I have to add, is that Cedars is probably praising Satan for the Russian invasion of Ukraine, as that seemed to completely derail the DAILY megathreads over on Reddit which had to be killing him every day!!!! Once the invasion started, no one gave a shit about that fat fuggin loser Cedars!!!!

  Fast Food: NONE. Ok, Chipotle on occasion, but they're all organic ingredients.

  I support as many local Central Markets with local produce stands and butchers as I can. I buy ZERO meats from the grocery stores. We cook 90% of our own meals from fresh ingredients. We know how to cook and eat healthy. I also don't drink soda except for maybe (1) bottle of Mexican (real sugar cane) Coke every 4 months. Beer occasionally (usually summer) by the SoloStove, wine on occasion.

  When eating out, it's local good restaurants. We enjoy Italian (a place owned by actual Sicilians), Peruvian (again, owned by actual Peruvian), Thai (owned by Thai), and several Greek-owned diners for breakfast.

  Seriously, "Fast Food" like Burger King, Hardees, or Jersey Mike's would be a once a year thing for us.

  Wow! So glad to see her back here again. I was truly hoping she wasn't fully "retired" from this board.

  Hey Blondie, if you read this, I have a question for you: In a recent response you posted about how you wrote to Ray Franz, then met him while traveling near his home, and then eventually that became an annual thing. You then mentioned he had some sort of accident before passing. So my question(s) are:

  1. Was his "study" the same one shown in the 1986 documentary "Witnesses of Jehovah" wherein they had interviewed him a bit? I'd imagine you're familiar with that one hosted by the Chritien's, but if not it's free to view on Youtube.

  2. Your account is the first I've heard of him having some sort of "accident." Was it work related, or simply a fall and hip break, as is experienced by many other elderly people? I'd be very saddened to hear if he had to work till almost the day he died. I thought he had passed in the hospital of basically "natural causes."

  Back to the Meetings------Back to Covid.

  a lot of pimos are reporting that returning to the meetings is backfiring in that covid is spreading among the members returning.. post;.

  so last saturday was my first meeting back in person and well it completely backfired.

  last night i got a text from my group overseer saying that someone in the hall tested positive for covid and that we need to get tested(great 🎉).. honestly i kinda expected this.

  Oh please! There's no "COVID Explosion." Hell, with all that's going on in Ukraine the news doesn't even mention COVID anymore.

  I can't remember the last time I heard of anyone I know or work with even contracting COVID. The hospitals around here aren't overflowing. Life is "back to normal" here. (Northeast USA).

  I rarely see someone with a mask, and usually it's some dumb nutter alone in the car driving. lol

  About that list of helpers above:

  Gene Smalley is still alive? That guy's gotta be in his 90's! He was responsible for a lot of the blood doctrine flip-flops and associated BS I'm told. Possibly the organ donour stuff too. A lot of "bloodguilt" is on his head, as far as I'm concerned.

  Do yourself a favour and get this post on the ex-JW REDDIT group. There are so many people on there it's not even funny. That'll drum up some interest. No offense to Simon at all, but the exJW REDDIT group is truly #1 as far as sheer volume of people on it right now, and will probably continue to be. I enjoy both, hence I post on both.
