1. Welcome!
2. Is your monster of an egg donour in a jail cell? I certainly hope so.
i am way late to the party on this message board but i saw that there were some folks from the new england area who had stories about familiar jws that i grew up with.
my story, as brief as i can tell it, goes like this.. i was born in boston, ma in the early 70s to two my mom and dad who were in their early 20s and woefully unprepared for marriage and raising kids.
dad becomes drunk and violent, mom is bipolar, desperate and high strung and looking anywhere for help.

jehovah's witnesses are a cult .
pure & simple!.
the wickedness we see prevalent today among the jehovah’s witnesses can no doubt be largely attributed to the leadership of the organization, the watchtower society and it's governing body.
Wow! I'm blown away. This simple concept never crossed my mind before. That being, that JW's are a total cult! This explains everything. I'm cured and healed. Thank the Great Flying Spaghetti Monster for this enlightenment.
Lett us all feast upon His fine noodley banquet that has been steamed to heavenly perfection.
Ramen!
i haven’t been on here in years, had an old account but don’t remember the username or even the email to which it was attached.
life, man.
anywho, 13 years out (that feels wild), born in, fourth generation, elder’s daughter, baptized at ten, partially homeschooled (but apparently not enough lol), former convention stage performer/pioneer/foreign language congregation member, etc.
Welcome back!
What I'd like to know is.......what happened next? What University did you escape to? What was your major? Are you married, successful, etc?
Your family sounds like control freaks.....which the JW produces many of.
you can't make this shit up!
lol!!!!

"All hail your Governing Body OverLordz!"
"Sig Heil! Sig Heil!"
leaked info:watchtower received $497 million from one country (britain) in last six years!
[must watch!].
this video was just released with documented proof, see this link: https://jehovahstruth.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=187#p187.
Just think: $497 Million in donations from just the UK alone in less than a decade. Just the UK! Not America (home base) or even South America. (#2) Just the UK!
So now tell me again how a $2 million USD settlement here, or a $5 million USD settlement there, for CSA payouts is going to "bring down" the WatchTower? This cult is worth BILLIONS upon BILLIONS of dollars. They have real estate, and huge investment portfolios we can only dream about.
They sure act desperate and like they're hurting for money, what with all the sell-offs of buildings, begging of donations, etc going on.
So that BEGS the question: Where the fuq is all the money going then? WTH is going on? Are they building a compound or underground bunkers around the world no one knows about? I find that hard to believe with how stupid they are and with how everything (even stupid videos) are leaked early.
uh oh, looks like the mega thread gave up the ghost, so while i investigate / fix it just continue the discussion here .... it's been a long 9 years lloyd evans / john cedars.
Lloyd's worst enemy? Lloyd Evans.
it’s not right for children to be forced to come to ministry groups on their own without their parents.
the parents just expect others to look after them.. we have this happening at our group all the time.
early teens and even younger.. the parents just want them out of the house for a bit and put the burden on others to look after them and get them home safely.. there should be an announcement or something that youths need to be accompanied by a responsible adult and not just dumped at the group on their own.. who is supposed to look after them?.
Parents just want some "alone time" to practice the "3-fold-chord" missionary position in private.
you can't make this shit up!
lol!!!!

@road to nowhere:
It's true that things are "borrowed" from time to time in literature, one would not expect something like this in such divinely inspired works as what WatchTower puts out? Why, that's unclean! Then again, they've done it before. The one pic of a beautiful woman (in red) in the water.....I think was in the Live Forever book and also a WT article, was actually lifted from some worldly publication. Total plagiarism. Still can't believe WT wasn't sued over that one, even if it was the 80's.
you can't make this shit up!
lol!!!!

Someone over on Reddit posted this illustration from some WT publication or website or whatever. The caption they had was, "Who sings like this?" Like in a weird group, but almost choir looking? Here it is:
Anyhow, that's not what caught my attention. Nah. As a long-time viewer of the NBC comedy skit show "Saturday Night Live", I was immediately drawn to one woman in particular. Church Lady!!! This was a notorious skit played by Dana Carvey in the 80's-90's.
I'm glad to see that (whomever is left) in the WT Art Dept apparently has a sense of humour. Oh the irony, of seeing "Church Lady" singing "Kingdom Melodies."
Now who could have put such humourous, impure thoughts into an artist at WT HQ? Whom did that? Could it have been:
SATAN?

g..
AKA: WatchTower Cult Compound.
"Campus" makes it sound like an institute of higher learning, which it so obviously is not.
