Sister may have had a slight heart attack, do I text her?

so my cousin phoned and told me my jw sister was taken to hospital with chest pains and it may have been a slight heart attack or possibly she's starting with angina.

now as some of you know my sisters and brother have had little to do with me for 29 years.

we've met at funerals, or arranged them, but i just thought today what if she did die?

If she wanted you to know about her health or medical conditions, SHE would contact YOU. She doesn't, so therefore it's none of your business and doesn't warrant any sort of contact whatsoever.

When people show you how they are, believe them. She's shown herself as a judgmental ASS, so damn sure believe that's what she is.

And yeah, I've been there with in-laws (non-JW's) who were manipulative narcissists. You get to the point where you say, "I've had enough of this shit! Good luck with all that!", and then promptly exit - FOREVER.

Contacting this heartless wench will only end in pain for YOU. Somehow, someway, they'll use it to poke at you and make you feel like a subhuman being. Been there, done that.

i just thought i'd share this story from my past.. back in the 80s i remember the big problem seemed to be about music.

(today, it's tight pants, i guess) the organization, society, whatever they were calling themselves, were always going on about the music we listened to.

disco, heavy metal, the whole "backwards masking" thing...couldn't escape hearing or reading about how satan was corrupting us unless we were listening to kingdom melodies or elevator music.. i was assigned to wtf in the late 80s and remember one of the articles stating that "young people know that the rhythm of rock music is the rhythm of sexual intercourse.

Ha! I remember the rants of the 80's well. As a young JW kid, I wasn't allowed to own ANY of my own music. I remember rants against Michael Jackson, KISS, Ozzy Osbourne, Megadeth, Guns-N-Roses, and especially Queen and Judas Priest.

Doesn't matter. I have them ALL now!

As a teen in the 90's, there were a lot of rants about Rap music, Grunge, etc. Like any kid in the 90's gave a shit. Ha!

when i was little i remember the decor inside being red and cream coloured.

Wait.......what in the hell did I just watch?

1.) That marching drum beat sounds "militaristic" in nature, like something right out of the old Soviet Bloc! WTF??????

2.) The older lady in the silver dress (centered), is like a Barbara Anderson doobleganger!! Wow!! She also had a few snide looking smirks on her face, probably from watching that dufos conductor Splain make an ass out of himself with his "conducting."

3.) The weird looks on the faces of these people before they started singing just screams, "I'm a brainwashed cult member, and I just luuuuuuv this shit!" ALA: People's Temple style. Glazed over, non-thinking, drones. SMH.

CL&M part Jan 4 - annual meeting service report - our outstanding experiences

this was the first part in the "living as christians" section of the meeting tonight.

speaker had two pioneers on the stage to relate their outstanding experiences for 2017. we have 23 pioneers and over 160 publishers in the hall.

our territory is densely populated with single family houses, apartments and condominiums.

That bit in the "do's and don'ts" at the Convention really raises a Red Flag. Which one? Well, all of them are controlling, but the one that raises my eye the most is the one about food. Cooking food in your room, or eating to much at the Continental Breakfast buffet. How so you may ask? Why, this is an old Cult trait. Don't let your recruits or members eat too much food, in particular: Protein. The food that is served is usually Carb-rich to load down and make the members half sleepy, so that they are more easily indoctrinated (AKA: Brainwashed). Protein-rich diets that are lower in carbs, tend to not make people drowsy and also encourage more brain activity. Can't have that!!!!! (thinking)

I remember this guy. I don't need his testimony to verify what I've already known: JW's are a cult and are the cause of much mental illness.

My late JW-to-faded mother was an RN for 30+ years. 10 of those years were spent in the hospital's psychiatric ward. Guess what my mother discovered? An unusual ratio of JW's coming thru the doors with a slew of conditions: drug abuse, cutting, mental break-downs, suicide attempts, bi-polar disorder, NPD, PTSD, and on and on. JW's, and Mormons as well. Much more than the usual population. Sometimes, Elduh's would actually try and use their Clergy status to get into the (secured) ward to try an question (AKA: interrogate) the JW patients about their "sins." Family would come in (cause they could) and also attempt this, as well as lay guilt trips on the suffering individuals about how they were making Jah's Organization "look bad" or "bringing reproach" on it by being there in the first place, instead of praying more and attending the meetings, and seeking out "worldly" (AKA: Satanic) medical help!!!!!

Truly, the JW's are highly controlling, warped, twisted Cult if there ever was one. My mother's experiences in that ward was a gigantic Red Flag that helped her to eventually wake up to the fact that she had been duped by a Cult.

It's real easy: Narcissists (which this cult attracts and is filled to the brim with) will NEVER say they are sorry, because they always feel they've been wronged and that THEY are owed an apology.

To the original poster: What kind of VW do you have? I luv German cars. Had an '87 BMW 325i as my first car. Then a '98 VW Jetta. Then a '07 Audi S4. Now I just got a new VW Passat. Really luv them. Even though I went "down" to a Passat, the amount of room and luxury makes me feel like I stepped "up!"
