All About The Trinity
by UnDisfellowshipped inwhen jesus was about to die, he showed who his superior was by praying: "father, if you wish, remove this cup from me.
the one god is eternal (has always existed and always will), immortal (his divine nature cannot die), omnipotent (all-powerful), omniscient (all-knowing), omnipresent (he is everywhere at the same time), god is the only one who can read human hearts and minds, god cannot sin and cannot lie, god does not change his morals or his nature.
the trinity is not one person revealed three different ways (this is what "oneness pentecostals" believe).

UnDisfellowshipped,
And yet, at John 1:1, you claim that the first time "God" is mentioned refers to The Almighty, but the 2nd time "God" is mentioned refers to an inferior, lesser, created being separate from The Almighty.
You have no idea of how I understand John 1:1. I doubt you would even try to grasp what the apostle John meant by his prologue. Again, you make an attempt to link me with what JWs believe.
I'm waiting to see how you differentiate yourself from Catholics who, according to your description, are image worshippers precisely because they worship the Trinity.
Yes, Herk, 1 + 1 + 1 = 3. But what does 1 x 1 x 1 equal? Yes, ONE.
This type of reasoning is what convinces me that Trinitarians just aren't interested in knowing the truth about God. One God the Father plus one God the Son plus one God the Holy Ghost is 1 + 1 + 1, not 1 X 1 X 1. Anyone who loves truth would think a little bit and not insert pathetic nonsense into the discussion.

UnDisfellowshipped,
I am not a Catholic image-worshiper, therefore, why are you using Catholic Trinity images to try to show what I believe?
You admit that Catholics are image worshippers. But even though you worship the same false god(s), you deny that you also are an image worshipper! Think about that!
On the other hand, I don't believe as JWs do. So your attempt at linking me with them is without effect.
Why not? When Jesus was on earth, when Jesus said "God", He was referring to The Father. So, Jesus was saying: "believe in God [The Father], believe also in Me [The Son]."
It is mere wishful thinking on your part that "God" in the Bible means only the Father at times and that "God" means a trinity at other times. You have nothing--absolutely nothing--in Scripture to support such a preposterous idea.
