these last two weeks have been just plain awful for me... 2 weeks i hope to never have to go through.
firstly my mum disowns me, then i lose my baby and get an infection from the miscarriage.
i go back to work after having 10 days off to find out i have lost my job.

Hey Aztec :) Thanks for asking after me. Nothing dramatic happening down here. I started working parttime 2 days a week which is keeping me busy, plus 2 kids to run around after the rest of the time. But we are all well and happy, if at times a little stressed and frazzled :)

i've been off for two weeks and come back and everything is different.. i just wanted to check in and let everyone know my c-section went well and i had a beautiful, healthy baby boy.. anthony tristan was born on january 31st at 4:18 pm.
he weighed 6 lbs.
1 oz.. he had some breathing problems and was in nicu for five days.
Congrats on the safe arrival of Anthony! You sound very thrilled, I am sure he is the most delightful baby boy and you and your hubby will be amazed on a daily basis with his antics :D Enjoy these days, they fly by. And also well done on the breastfeeding, it can be quite a challenge so if you can get the hang of it you will be giving Anthony the very best start!

Yes, Ravyn, I spent years totally convinced they were right and I was going to die at Armageddon somtetime soon. Your post covers the gambit of emotion one would expect to deal with upon leaving the WTS.
I don't hold the conviction now that I did when I first left the org, but it was a strong and driving influence in my life for some 3-4 years after leaving. I simply don't believe any of the doctrinal or biblical teachings anymore. There is no longer a hold over me and I don't go to bed wondering if I will die at Armageddon tomorrow. I don't believe there will be an Armageddon...ever. That is of course, MHO.
There would be comfort in knowing that you are not alone in your feelings of fear and anxiety though, and perhaps even a help with healing the painful wounds that come with such a life-altering decision to leave what has been, in many cases, your life behind.

it takes a watchtower style look at the debates over what relevance the law had that took place in the early christian era.
