  McKinney Texas pool party?

  so today i was asked my thoughts on the pool party incident in mcminney, texas.

  Watch the video again he gets up after he is approached by the two boys they start to back off he goes for his gun and they are starting to run. He didn't even have to pull it and they are already going bye bye but he pulls it anyway. it

  If you review the video again you'll see that when the officer turn towards the boy that ran up to him the boy quickly starts to back off and is almost turned away from the officer or turning away from the officer to start to flee. Then the cops starts to pull his gun and the kids is all but running away at this time. The kids hads are exposed and he is not acting like he has a weapon. If the cop had fired his gun he would of shot the kid in the back. Yes I agree the kid should have never run up on the cop but again as soon as the cop turned to him the kid is backing off.

  Just because a bunch of teens are being disrespectful doesn't mean the cops should start pulling guns. A few months ago police pulled up in a car seeing a young boy with a gun, they shot him within a few seconds of pulling up and were still in their car. He was a little boy playing with a gun. But I guess you'll make an excuse for the cops in this case too like so many have that since he was in a public place and the red cap was pulled off the gun so that it looked real it was ok. Just like if this cop which pulled his gun and shot the teenager that ran up close to him. Someone out there would say it was ok for the cop to shoot him because he ran up to the cop.

  What I have to say is police are supposed to be better, better trained better prepared to deal with these situations but instead in America its increasingly shoot to kill and evade questions and since were the law we can do as we please. Oh and if you didn't know cops use hollow point bullets so their chances of killing someone with one shot is greatly increased. They don't care about justice and a guy getting his day in court nope they want the perps dead, a dead person cant testify in court.

  What I saw was a little man a little police man over reacting to a bunch of kids. Proof is this little girl was already on the ground and he proceeds to throw her up and back onto the ground to try to get her on her back so he could handcuff her. Little crying girl in a bikini, such a threat she needed hand cuffs. I'm surprised he didn't just pull up in his police car and start shooting, that's what cops do these days isn't it.

  So true, the last time I went out in service I knocked at the door by mistake of a do not call. Once he realized I was a JW he was pissed. I was kind of dumfounded by why someone would be so pissed. Just say get lost and close the door. He even yelled at me for having a dumb smile on my face. It wasn't because of arrogance but just disbelief that he would be so pissed. Now with what I know I can totally relate to why he was so pissed off.

  the topic is whether there was a man named jesus and paul, the infidel atheist get's owned because he shows his true colors!.

  Lets not forget the Pauline writing's most of them came before the gospels and the gospels were said to be written at least 100 years after Jesus death. Once you realize when and how the NT was composed you realize there's a big problem.

  I think Bart's opinion is yes there was a guy named Jesus but he was just a guy possible a Jewish leader teacher theologian but that's all. He mentions the writings of James and Jude that were supposedly his half brothers and in those writings Jesus is never mentioned as Gods son or that Jesus is god. He also references some gnostic writings that seam to indicate the same idea.

  Personally I think Jesus life story, travels etc. were modeled after Apollonius of Tirana.

  there are a lot of people on this site and others who even though they don't believe anymore still fill the seats at the meetings.. i was just wondering, if they all decided to leave at the same time, how many do you think would leave?

  would the numbers drop dramatically?

  Most JW's have nothing but the religion in their lives, with out it they are nothing and they know it. With out the religion their sense of superiority is gone they become just people regular stupid nothing to offer the world people. They also know that all their friends are jw's and they don't want to loose them so they are stuck.

  They economy tanked in 2009, their hedge funds and other investments went in to the toilet. They needed to sell off New York real estate to stay afloat. If they just sold the real estate people would know something was up so they said they were just moving.

  Bart used to say there was no Jesus. I think to keep himself relevant he changed his mind.
