  i was raised a witness, baptized at 16, vacation pioneered, got married, etc.

  i was very much your typical witness and believed it was the truth until last summer.

  a very close relative of mine left the witnesses.

  If your marriage is about to bust then why not go for the throat so to speak. Bring out all the child molestation issues and show him the documents, nothing from an apostate web site but from other sources. then show him sweet little scriptures that he will not be able to deny.

  Like John 20:25 where it says nails showing Jesus was killed on a cross not a stake. Or even Rev. Chapter 20 were it does not say anything about a new scrolls being opened. Show him in the Greek interlinear Rev. 5:10, there its doesn't say they will be Kings and that they will be on the earth. Then back up to verse 9 have him read then flip over to Rev.7:9 have him read this and see that it the great crowd that's being talked about not just the 144.

  Ask him how the bible is apostate? Or is it really his religion? Ask him what his understanding of the good news of the kingdom is? Then show him 1Corth. chapter 15 and Galatians chapter 1 where it states that Jesus , is the good news, Not a government or anything else the JW's say.....

  Yes Perry and Jesus is a retelling of Marduk, they both are called on to battle the dragon defeat death and then elevated to god of gods, king of kings. The bible has ruined so many lives and caused the death of so many people. I only deal with the bible now to prove its errors and the errors of the JW's.

  in the 1969 kit the society used a book by bible scholar justus lipsius as source material for their upright stake "stauros" doctrine of the death of christ.

  they used an image of a man hung on an upright stake with no crossbeam attached to it.

  then they placed a caption under it saying that the illustration came from lipsius.

  in todays news from australia it appears that, despite his previous declination to appear when invited, justice mcclellan from the australian royal commission on child sex abuse will officially summon brother geoffrey jackson to the stand after all.. ..... the commission was due to conclude its hearings into the jehovahs witnesses on wednesday but justice mcclellan said he will now call geoffrey jackson, a senior member of the churchs governing body in new york who is currently in australia, to appear next week.. .

  The key to this cross or stake issue is simply John 20:20-25 Thomas says nails not nail. If he was impaled on a stake it would be one nail.

  in the early writings of the bible its mentioned that the israelites worshiped false gods, gods of the stars and other celestial bodies.

  ezekiel even bloviates against this in his writings and king josiah is said to have abolish these practices.

  jeremiah mentions that god would even destroy the city were sun worship was being practiced a place called bethshemesh in egypt.

  Early church leader Marion did not like the god of the old testament and didn't like the idea that this god maybe the father of the Christ, so it could well be that there were ones pushing other father gods of Christ , and I agree. There are those that say Christ was actually the god Serapis from Alexandria, others state that Christ was a retelling of the Marduk stories and the similarities in the book of revelations can be seen to that of the stories in the Emu Elish. If Christ is a retelling of Marduk the his father is Enki, the similarities of this god and those of the Hebrew god are very telling. I believe that the god El from Ugrarit and the god Enki from Babylon are one in the same.
