The Romans did not crucify robbers
by purrpurr ini've been reading a book called nonsense from the bible.
in it it makes the point that the romans did not crucify robbers.
having since researched this it seems this is true.

I believe they the Romans let a Roman terrorist go to replace him with Jesus so asked the crowd, this would of never happened. Also this idea that the Jewish leadership would be involved with and pushing for the execution of Jesus during Passover week is preposterous. They would have broken over 7 of their own laws to have Jesus killed during this time. -

Stats of conventions in Mexico
by ILoveTTATT2 ini just went to a convention in mazatlan, mexico.. i had wanted to do this for a very long time, it left me shaken a bit (because i had a confrontation of sorts with one jw who recognized me), but i got some stats that give some insight into the borg.
it really is crumbling, even in the places where they have arguably had the best, wildest success in the world: mexico.. just so you can see how much they have success in mexico compared to the us or anywhere else:.
top three countries in 2014 were:.

As the internet apostates gain a foot hold in this language, the Mexican 's will wake up and probably be more vocal at getting loved ones out. They are a tighter nit family dynamic then Americans. This will cause more discussions and more family fights and more people waking up. The growth in Brazil has also stopped . -

Babylon was still one of the most populous cities in the world in the first century and wasn't depopulated until several hundred years after the Roman Empire fell. It was finally destroyed when they had several times rebelled against and Iraqi leader and he forcibly removed the population to other areas in the area. So really Babylon was never destroyed after Assyria but just abandoned.
Thanks Kepler for your post about the curse of the Assyrian over Babylon, I read about his a little but never connected the dots. It's clear to me this is what Isaiah was talking about and Jeremiah possibly and that to use it in connection with Jerusalem was per propaganda.

GB member has chance to witness to the world, but wait.
by Crazyguy ingo therefore and make disciples of the jw church, we have been taught and show the world that you must be part of the borg and follow the gb as the faithful and discreet slave as gods chosen mouth piece!
so with all eyes on the faithful slave his chance to tell the world of this witness he does what?
he says that would be "presumptuous of us.

If your looking in to their religious beliefs then, Three Babylonian creation myths, by Soliman El-Azir, is a good easy read. Something with a lot more meat would be "The Chaldean account of Genesis " by George Smith. I have watched a good video on YouTube on the Sumerians their culture and their civilization. I'll find it and post it here when I can. -

Will the resurrected marry/have children?
by davidmitchell ini have just finished reading 'brock talon's' two books.
in one of them, entitled journey to god's house, pub.
he comments on how the wt's pictures of the post-armageddon world do not agree with their doctrines, namely that those who are physically resurrected will not marry/have children.

Hate to be the bad news guy, but the idea of a resurrection and paradise come from the Egyptians religious beliefs. All the details can be found in the book of the dead.
