  this month on "this generation" reminded me of the movie "book of eli" first scene with eli & carnegie's .

  "i need that book ... i'll kill ya.

  i'll take the book," threatens carnegie in a face-off in the middle of the street reminiscent of a western shootout.. .

  ok heres latest at kh .i have a friend of mine who is df but trying to get reinstated i know you may ask why but its a free country anyway he is a frienldly chap and likes to say hello to old friends.

  he does his hellos very discreetly not makeing a scene.

  well the elders have noticed him saying hello to people at hall so they invited him in back room.

  Instead of mentioning Matt 7:12 he should of just had them backup a couple of verse in 2 john where it's talking about not believing Christ is real so unless he's a non beliver it doesn't apply.

  For Those of You Who Still Serve... How Do You Do It?

  new here... been lurking for some time now.... i still serve... but with each passing day, it gets harder and harder.

  i'm slowly... slowly working on my wife (i call her mrs. hardcore) and even my m-i-l (who taught my wife how to be hardcore).

  making some amazing progress... they are still hardcore... but unrecognizable from a couple years ago!.

  I went back for a couple of meetings after I quit old turkey then discussing issues with the elders. After going back for a couple of meeting I couldn't handle the self-righteous aragance and pure bullshit. I partook at the last memorial that I went to, and that was it, it's been over two years. I was going to fade or stay and try to wake up wife. But a I think a couple of people noticed how red my face would get listening through the meetings so I think they would of figured out it was a lie me being there.

  Could "this generation" inspire a new "1975 debacle"?

  i think that it's possible that they're getting ready to issue a new end time date insinuation like they did with 1975. now i know what some of you are probably thinking: why would they be so stupid as to repeat such a mistake, knowing what happened in 1975?

  well here're two reasons why i think they could do it:.

  I'm not sure another 1975 would work again. There's to much information online about the JW's and all their false prophecies. In fact there's so much info about the JW's online I doubt anything they could do or try would get many newbies to join. Religion is dying so it's a dead horse anyway.

  A lot of really good looking woman are extremely insecure, yet many guys will not hit on them do to their own insecurities. I have found in some case these ugly guys would hit on them since they felt they had nothing to loose anyway and because of the insecurities of the woman they would say yes.
