i don't have the exact articles offhand but russell taught the jews would be grouped back and have israel again.

after he died and rutherfords failed predictions, he decided to cut that belief saying it was all symbolic.

they dropped that belief then it ends up happening.

Confronting Parents About 607 vs 587

just thought i would update you guys since my 1st post last week.i haven't been to the meeting for about 2 weeks now, and maybe have like 1 or 2 hours of service combined within the past 2-3 months.

i obviously get the love bombing from relatives when they don't see you at the hall for a while.

Yes thier own documents prove that Jerusalem was destroyed in 587 not 607. Next you should ask why a perfect man would use the term 'this generation ' since it's obvious according to the Wt that he was meaning 'these generations '

a number of years ago when i was still active, our service group was having a coffee break with the visiting circuit overseer.

during the conversation he mentioned that the "society" was now being run like a business.

being raised in the "truth" i thought that rather odd (and my eyes began to be opened!

Its almost as if there are two groups in charge. One does the spiritual stuff and the other does the investments and the money side. The spiritual side was saying and doing things with out consulting with the other side. Also they may have money but their obviously not bringing in as much as they hoped or before the crash of 2008. People don't have it too give. I also believe that they know the writing is on the wall, people are leaving no ones joining. This is why there's all these changes to trynto keep those in and their children to stay in. Their planning for a future where they make less and less off the rank and file.

Yep you nailed and when I figured this out for myself a couple of years ago I got really mad.. The fact is based on the teachings of the borg their all just Jonadabs unable to gain salvation so they must hang on to the coat tails of the seven real Christians to get into the kingdom of god. This is exactly what the Catholics teach about them and the Pope. The borg is a mini Catholic religion copy.

my thoughts are about a global, world wide return of us, people with a different vision, sometimes called faders, apostates, mentally disordered, non-believers to the kingdom hall under the name "project recapture".. it's easy.

I have to agree with oppostate, if I could go back I would only to teach my family true Christian values but even that may not work. Those with a conscience do the right thing and seem to think all that's wrong is because of human imperfect ion. Everyone else has thier heads in the sand. If your not part of them and the machine or if you are and even think a little differently your belittled. Your iether 100 percent with them or your a piece of shit. We have seen it first hand with the things they say and the lies they tell about ones that have left.

so here's an interesting thing that happened lately.

if you guys have followed my previous posts, you probably know my mother almost died from severe anemia, decided to take blood transfusions to avoid death and the elders announced the congregation she disassociated.

last week a "brother" came to visit from a congo about 100 kilometers away.

Cookiemaster hopefully you can take this opportunity to show your mom from the Bible that the blood doctrine is crap. I would think that once she sees this she'll realize the borg almost killed for no good reason and never go back.

In countries like the USA and a few others where family relationships are more uptight they can keep things quite.. In others parts of the world where family units are very tight like Latin America parts of Europe and Africa people are going to talk to one another. Families are less likely to shrun I believe and information is going to get around.. This is just my opinion but if I'm right that spells bad times for the borg.
