Tanzania News Update

i wanted to share with you some feed back from this region.

since you could say tanzania and other regions within africa are the last hard to reach places on the earth.

it is where the www preaching work funds are directed, as being justified to get your donations.there are now no longer any foreigners at the branch within tanzania, they all were told to go.

for in-stance, two children, five and seven years old, sent their pocket money to help build our new bethel instead of going to the circus, writing, "this is much better than that!

Is zeal beginning to vanish?

it has to be starting to fade somehow.

the very last time i went out in field service, hardly any were out.

maybe just about nine people were out and man if you could just see their faces.

Tor, welcome and I disagree, most jws know nothing. The reasons they have lost zeal is it's the same old message with out any urgency like before the generation teaching changed. It doesn't help that so many old ones, old pioneers and old zealous ones are dying. The religion is dying all religion is dying. Even major events like tsunamis don't get the rank and file excited anymore.

But their still delsusion for it's always Jehovah this and Jehovah did that and pray to Jehovah and thank him some human helped us, mostly the sisters going on about Jehovah

the palestine in which the young jesus grew up was strongly influenced by hellenic mythology.

for some 600 years the jews had been subjects of first the persian empire and then the empires of alexander the great, his hellenic successors (the ptolemies and the xxxx) and eventually the romans.

I think Jesus was modeled after more then just one dirty. Horus, Mithras, Marduk, zues, etc.

Does Jehovah Intervene - JW Teaching

i have been a jw my whole life and i have never been able to get a clear answer on this question.

jw's do not believe that jehovah will intervene if someone is sick, dying or stopping a car crash.

they feel that jehovah is letting "this world" play out before he solves all of these problems.

I remember the young jw woman in Oregon that was kidnapped by a jw man and raped and killed. Where was Jehovah? All those people killed in that KH during that cyclone in the Philippines, where was Jehovah? Some guy gets a few bucks while going out in service for gas, Jehovah is great! Its called the god delusion and a lot of people have it.

let me begin by stating that i have no insider information, this is merely my observation.

i believe that some time ago in watchtower land, somebody at hq posed these questions (probably an outside consultant because i don't think the gb is this hip): .

what would happen if we cut in half the average age of the responsible brothers in the organization?

They can't get back the feeling that the end is so close because all those people that we're born in 1900 are so old. Their becoming less and less relavent to the rank and file and I think it's becoming easier for people to leave as well.

I think their done, with any and all preaching and expansion in any country where theres no money to be made. If that country grows on it's own then fine, but they will also have to pay for KHs on their own too. There's no money in mud huts.

JWs Don't Really Believe This Scripture...

so the bible says this about god at rom 1:20 for his invisible qualities are clearly seen from the worlds creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made, even his eternal power and godship, so that they are inexcusable.. however, jws don't really believe this scripture to be true.

whenever something comes out about nature that they don't like they will instead say that it is due to imperfection.

animals are predatory and will kill to survive, well, that must be imperfection.

Well Jws will say that animals that eat their own or other animals got that way because of Satan. Of course there's still no such thing as evolution so they say. And they don't realize that nowhere in the Bible is Satan credited for creating anything.
