Court denies summary judgement for Laurel Jehovah's Witnesses congregation
by OrphanCrow incourt denies summary judgement for laurel jehovah's witnesses congregation.
a motion for summary judgement is denied in a case against the laurel congregation of jehovah's witnesses and some individuals over child abuse reporting issues.a lawyer for the congregation maintained that elders were exempted from reporting requirements under a state law because of clergy privilege and confidentiality.the case resulted from allegations that elders did not report an unlawful sexual relationship between a woman and a 14-year-old boy, both of whom were members of the jehovah's witnesses congregation.. download the court opinion here.

Bible prophecy coming true! Mark 4:22
by mamacita29 inmark 4:22. for there is nothing hidden that will not be exposed; nothing is carefully concealed that will not come out in the open.. to bad the watchtower bible and cult society of pa doesn't realize this prophecy applies to them along with a hundred other prophecies that point to the evil slave, forked tongue, making failed predictions and being proven false.
so many come to mind.
we need to share this with everyone and turn the bible on them.

Write something along these lines " I now realize that it was a sin to use more then ten percent of my brain, oh why why did the great Creator give me so much Brian power if I was only going to use it and sin against the organization. I pray that in my sleep Jehovah will cut out some of my Brian so I can be more like the elders." -

Is the WT’s Paradise Earth doctrine a delusion?
by deegee inthe wt’s teaching that humans will live forever on a paradise earth will necessitate that given that there will be no more death, then immortal humans will have to be relocated to other planets in order to prevent the earth from becoming overpopulated.. so how many habitable, earth-like planets are there?more and more habitable, earth-like planets would have to become available on a continuous, never-ending basis ad infinitum as mankind’s population grows given that there will be no more death.. the longevity/sustainability of life on these planets will be limited by the fact that the sun serving these planets will eventually die:https://shar.es/1cko6n.
http://www.space.com/22437-main-sequence-stars.html#sthash.ejbt1xrz.dpuf.
so immortal humans will have to keep moving from planet to planet.

The idea of living in a paradise comes from the Egyptians, they called it the field of reeds. Going to heaven also their idea and so was having a spirit. Getting baptized, circumcision all theirs. Christanity is mostly a copy of this ancient religion. -

Partaking of emblems
by sloppyjoe2 inthis year will be my first for by going to the memorial.
i will get asked by my parents how i can deny jesus even if i don't believe the end is close.
my thoughts on this are as follows, bear in mind saying it's all make believe is not an option.. i think that jesus intended for everyone to eat the bread and drink the wine.

I don't think there is any Scriptures that say Jesus followers we're ever anointed. His followers were part of his body and become symbolicly anointed in him. They we're of the the body of Christ. -

The argument over wood petrification and the pertification of animal dung?
by Crazyguy inthere's two sides to the explanation of petrified wood not sure yet about what creationists say about petrified dung.
on one side evelutionists say it's a long process the creationists say it happen rapidly caused by noah's flood and after.
has anyone really looked into this argument to see if there a decisive way to show the bible believers wrong.

Half banana thank s for the post, I realized there is a difference I think trying to explain it would be difficult to a child. Animal dung seems to be a different story. I haven't read about any dung being mineralized since water has to be involved and it would deteriate the dung. So dung it would seem can only be fossilized. This blows up the idea of animals only being around a few thousand years and a global flood would seem to destroy much of this product. -

Take it slow Conan and do your research, joining a religion is like dating. When you go out on dates with someone they usually act great and you see only the best side of the person all the flause in the person they don't want you to see it only after you have been with the person a long time even after getting married until the bad side of the person comes out. Would it not be great to see all sides of the person before you committed to them so you new what you we're getting into.
So again do your research, the people your studying with will only present the good side and may not even know about the other side but you can find out so as to make the right decision for you.

They don't want to spend a dime on something that's a waste of time. They know it's not going to affect the believer's. They could be told just to hand out toothpicks and they would do so thinking there was a plasible reason. -

what buzz word from the jw's do you hate & why?
by Sabin inso my hubby has been on a bit of a roll about the jdubs, we were talking a lot about them & he said the buzz word he hate's the most is "worldly" why?
because he say's "with that one word they have condemned (according to their believes) a person as being worthy of nothing but death.
".

Jehovah, because they say it as if he's only for them, but also what the name represents. A big fat lie and an evil make believe God that has killed more people then all the fake demons and devils combined. -

Memorial Non-Attendance: The Single Most Impactful TTATT Witness to JW Friends & Family
by AMNESIANO innote: the following is submitted in full recognition of and with compassion and due respect for those who, due to personal circumstance, feel they are unable to employ this powerful strategy.. ---.
anyone who has awakened to ttatt and has conscientiously left the organization--especially a once-prominent, highly-regarded, studious true-believer from a celebrated multi-generational tribe of jws-- after decades of devout, high-profile "serve-us," who continues to put in an annual appearance at the memorial thoroughly subverts and undermines, by this one act, any hope s/he may entertain that his/her departure will stir family or former friends to question the whole watchtower bamboozle.
by this one concession s/he assigns him-/herself by every single jw to their handy and dismissive purgatory: the "spiritually-weak.".

The last time I went I ate and drank mostly out of spite but also I knew what the Bible writers we're implying. So yes if your going to go eat and drink as a protest, otherwise going isn't doing anyone any good.
