I no longer feel smart as a JW, I feel dumb...
by thedepressedsoul ini don't want anyone to take this the wrong way but i use to at least feel smart as a jw.
when i went to thursday night meetings, i at least felt like i was a student, that i was learning how to speak publicly, i could prepare my own comments, i could answer points that i learned from the weekly bible reading.
i even feel like an "idiot" studying for the meetings.

I have met the brother who wrote the insight books as well as other stuff . He said the ones left are just idiots. With out fred franz, dulap, franz and a couple other that all left or died theres no one left to write anything of substance. -

Greatteacher, I have a shot gun loaded in my room but its on the top shelve of a closet and I'm the only one tall enough to reach it. I also have a pistol with the a gun lock on it the key in a different place as well as the clip. Getting a gun safe with a combo so I can have it the pistol ready but only I know the combo. Also both my older boys have been trained how to use the pistol and have shot it at a gun range. Teaching kids about guns and how to use and respect them is the best way to reduce the odds of having kids accidently shooting it off. No it's not full proof but it's proven to be a better strategy then doing nothing with the kids. -

In response to grreatteacher, I believe people should have to take a traning course to have and own a gun and back ground checks to for people wanting to buy a gun, being responsible when owning guns is the highest priority! Also I'm am not a member of the NRA and never will be. Just because I am a gun owner doesn't mean I'm a zealot. -

When I was a teenager over at the hall near by a girl about 15 was staying at her sisters house, spending the night. Everyone went to bed the woman and her husband in their room and the teenage girl on the couch. The man a brother woke up hearing something and went out to investigate and sees a man assaulting the girl on the couch. The man could not catch the guy for he took off running down the street with the brother chasing him. The brother gave up after awhile because he was naked. Went back to his house to soon realize the girls face had been beaten in, she suffered brain damage etc but did survive. Would a hand gun made a difference who knows, but the brother didn't have that option because the Borg counseled against pistols back then. Instead it was rely on Jehovah. -

Governing body member engaged... Again!
by OneDayillBeFree injust found out that the australian governong body member known as geoffrey jackson got engaged to a sister about two weeks ago.
it really shocked me at first but then i remembered how other members of the gb have remarried in the past like daniel sidlik.
what made me say "woah" was hearing that the holy bride to be is really young!

A few years ago I moved in to and rented a house. The previous tenant got in to his suv backed up and ran over his own child's head with the back tire. What a horable tragedy! When I was just a boy my brother an I got in to may parents car and he put the car out of park and it was rolling down a hill while I was hanging on the the open door on the other side. If I had fallen out I could have been run over by the front tire and killed. SO since my brother was a dumb kid and the father of the dead baby didn't look, All cars and suvs should be taken off the road an no one should be able to drive!!!! -

Tell your husband not to give them any money. They treat you like your dead until they need something. Say that to them. Ask them "why is God blessing us with money and you are poor? rub it in their faces. Tell them to go ask their new family the ones in the hall for money. -

Its crazy to think that anyone would just say yeah I want to go to a strange place with a bunch of strangers they have never met . OK maybe if you offer them some reason to go, food, entertainment, something, anything, a free toy out of a happy meal, something anything. When you think about it, it's really stupid.
